I really like it, but I've only seen D-bags drive it, which makes it a meh for me. There's someone at my school I think that put one of these

In the bed and I think that's just being a poser.
I mean, It's a nice truck, but I think people who drive it would use this:

Voted sub zero. Why? Because it's a monster for what it's built for. You guys all like fast road cars, yet find problems with fast trucks that go offroad, or are great playthings out in the mud? It's just two different cultures, don't knock it 'till you try it, trust me, I used to. Then I got my truck off road and it's fun stuff.

Cool ain't got nuttin to do with being good. No doubt it's probably a fairly decent piece of engineering for what it does and that doing that is fun. I mean playing GT5 is fun and my G25 is a good piece of engineering for doing it, but it's not cool.

Sub to the Fing Zero. The is nothing in pickup truck form that is more awesome that's currently being made.

And BTW watch TG US' review of it to understand how awesome. The noise it makes is sex.

I really wish I would've picked Sub-Zero now.

I choose Cool because it's probably the most badass non-HD pickup (and even the HD's are mostly built for towing) on the market. It wipes the floor on the dirt and has a better look than either the regular F-150 or gaudy F-250/350. The 5.4L V8 sounds like a bit of a let-down from what I've read, but then again, the 6.2L kicks ass.

I hope it gets the EcoBoost engine heading out to the other F-150 models though.

I seriously doubt your Sierra could do what this truck does....straight off the showroom floor.

BTW: I voted sub-zero.

If by "off the showroom floor" you mean buying it in the condition I bought Suzi in, then you have absolutely no reason to doubt. $800 and it can go anywhere the Raptor can go. Little less comfortable but just as capable. Except if you're doing 110kph in the Raptor.

EDIT: @ Luminis, most people do use picks up for work related tasks. At least here in the 415, I see these vary rarely as I don't live near many off road destinations, at least that I'm aware of. Most of which I see belong to construction companies or ranches.

It might be due to where I live, but... I still have to see any kind of SUV, pickup truck, jeep or any kind of 4x4 covered in dirt.
That might be where my distain towards that kind of cars comes from.

Not an uncool concept, but that thing is just hideous. That and compensating for something?

Seriously uncool.

Pickup trucks... seriously uncool.

I don't get what people have against pickup trucks? Easily one of the best selling vehicles in the world, you can carry/tow just about anything, go off road, carry multiple people, etc, etc.

One of the best inventions ever, IMO.

The only people in the UK that drive vehicles like that are self employed plumbers and plasterers. Uncool.

Luckily for you, it's not sold over there; you guys have to import it. your vote should be invalid.

It's made for driving it into the ground, made for off-roading, made for living it's live right up to the nano-second that it dies, made... for LIFE. It's the truck that wanted to grow up to be a soldier, and became a GOD.

This truck is Sub-Zero.

Usually I would vote for Seriously Uncool or maybe Uncool when evaluating a truck, but this one has guts and considerably appealing style.

Cool.

Subzero. Why? It is completely and totally awesome.

Only pickup I would ever own. I also like it because it shows that Ford has the guts to build something that they should sell only a couple of because it has no purpose in the urban jungle.

That read like contrived marketing blurb, people in marketing aren't cool, your vote should be invalid :)

Well, I think the Raptor is one of the coolest trucks I've ever seen. I may be biased, seeing as I have a '91 F150 and wish it could do all that and look that mean, but this is an opinion thread, so my bias is clearly not important here

Hey that's the subjective nature of cool. If everyone knew what was and wasn't cool that it would no longer be cool it would be mainstream :)

SUB-ZERO

A great effort thrown out there by the Ford SVT squad .Looks, performance,it has it all.

Extremely uncool.

I keep hoping one of these days, the majority of GTP will wake up and start to understand what "cool" means. Nothing to do with how awesome of a performance machine it is, or even how good looking you think it is.

I don't get what people have against pickup trucks?

Missing the point...

I like some pickup trucks (I've owned 2), but they are not "cool". Very good trucks, and the Raptor is definitely a good truck. However, how "good" something is has nothing to do with how "cool" something is. Most women if approached by a man in a massive lifted truck, think he's making up for something. Not exactly cool.

;)

Even then I don't judge it on looks, performance or even if it's any good. I find the Raptor to be fairly cool just because it's badass personified in a truck...and that's cool.

I can understand where you're coming from. It's just extremely hard to imagine how anybody could put a pickup truck on the Cool Wall.

It seems that GTP's Cool Wall criteria falls more into the category of, "If you like it, or think it's "badass" then it's cool".

That's not how the "Cool Wall" started.

As I said before, if 90% of the female population had a look at this truck (and it's occupant), their immediate thought would be "someone is a little light in the trousers"

That doesn't say "cool" to me. If a large sect of the populous thinks something is uncool, it stands to reason, it isn't cool.

That's my .02 cents. :)

;)

I have a hard time imagining most of the vehicles rates as cool being labeled as such. Me, I have a bunch of different things I look at when figuring out coolness and none of them have to do with performance or looks.

For the most part pick-ups aren't cool, but something like the Raptor is. A normal F-150 isn't though.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

To me, the Raptor is even more uncool, due it's overly flashy appearance.

Oh well. Moving on.
