watch ur replays over like 10 times in the same view, they do chage, i dunno why but they do change...

They do change... i think it is up to the driver to make sure that they get the best possible angle at every corner without editing the vid...

Most people won't agree w/ this because some people drift for exibition and not speed, this would favor me cause i use normal or sport tires, not sims.
I use normals and sports more than sims to. ;)

So does this mean the Team members cannot judge their own teams right, because it can be cheating, i mean, i would cheat too if i was judging one of my team members because i dont want my team to be ashame of loosing to another team.(just an opinion)

I did not mean to bring this back up, all i was doing was editing the judging list... it is stickied, and team members cannot judge their team members thank you for the reminder night drifter... Tho make sure you enact this... i iwll alter it ok...

I don't see how it's relevant to the GTPDC rules and regulations but yes, I can. You need skill to do it. So just keep practicing. And you DON'T need power to do it.

Monte carlo:

from the hairpin to the exit of the long tunnel is a challenge, and one that i have accomplished. Vids soon.

sorry to be off topic.

on topic though is i think the rules so far are really fair and well thought out, well done guys

Yeh, the one is kinda hard. At least the way I do it anyway. I link every turn possible, so that whole section is connected with no rear traction. I tried to hit the two right handers as if it we're on turn. I've done it before that way a few times but not recently. I'm concentrating on only a couple of tracks right now to help rebuild my skills after not playing for about 2 months.

Yeah i have the same problem of not playing for a month or two(a wife does that to you).

I link all the corners in the section aswell and can usualy link it from the corner before the hairpin but its a bit more tricky as you carry a bit to much speed into the hairpin.

Lets try and keep things on topic... I am sure there are plenty of threads where discussion of corners and such would be better placed... by the way i am still in the process of rewriting the race drift rules...

I updated the rules... If you are on the panel of judges please check if your team affiliation and name are correct.

I was thinking about judging and how sometimes a persons attitude on the board has affected their scores in contests (There were complaints about this concerning Akina86). To correct this, I was thinking that the head judge should assign each contestant a number 1-x (dependin on the number of people competing). Then when naming their video they could call it GTPDC7entry1.wmv (for example). This way the judges wouldn't have any idea who's entry it was. They'd be voting entirely on what they're seeing in the entry vids.

Of course, all car choices would have to be kept between the contestants and the head judge as well.

Anyway, it's just an idea to make things more fair.

Oh yeah, to add to this, I was thinking we could have a contest like "Guess that Drifter" where members get to watch a clip of somebody drifting and try to guess who the drifter is based on the style and control.

edit: So does that mean that the entries cannot have the drifter's name in it?

Yep..... We need to keep it anonymous....
