GTP Drift Team?

We'd need to have a team for NTSC and PAL. What's the point of having one team, when half of it can't even drift with the other half.

Very true, but what is NTSC & PAL... I don't know what the abbreviations stand for?

Its only recent that I kinda know what they mean...

Anyways theres a problem withe the barrier of the physics option. Most people drift with pro (me) but when you play the international event its kinda on standard...

Solution NTSC go buy PAL copys of the game :D
It should be cheaper than us and your all probably rich or something haha...

Update is coming...
Once again I have to make random settings that somehow work :D

Ill be losing a cappuchino, RX7, Lexus IS F, F430, Lancia HF Intergale plus all my other cars...

sounds like yall trying to get a slow angle and snaping the car back and then putting it back into drift with is not the way to drift all it means is your gonna get left behind that simple:yuck:i play with enough dirfters running on n2 n1 etc having to sit behind them lol and watch them drift because there not moving fast enough for me to pace with them N tires are the slowest not enough grip N3 i say is the best way to fly if u going on N tires ah whatever if you want to prove your point about tires angle and speed heres my aim name gt5d1drifting anybody willing to back up what they say ?👍

The thing is that in GT5 you can get more points in the drift mode if you use N1 tires in the back

i don't get SUPER high scores on eiger drifts, but when I tried S1s on my 512BB for the first time, I got a score higher than all my other scores

FIRST TIME S TIRE AND 512BB, TOO! :P

But in real life competition, "S tires" would be the right choice

thats right but in real life comparison nobody would drift a 512BB, but its cool thats its a game and you can actually do it, I do it too, but drifting is really all about FR when you think about it, and if you watched initial D wich i did recently you will have more respect for FR drivers especially on mountain roads because thats where all the excitment and the true skills come out and you see beautiful things happen

my favorite car to drift with is the TVR tamora on Eiger with S3 tires and major gear settings but it dosent give enough points on the drift attack, I cant wait till they make online drift events right now its ****

If only they had a S13... maybe with a pignose and silver paint... That'd be the only car I'd drive in the game!

I don't understand all this s tire business. My favorite car to drift is the tuned viper which sits at about 580hp and i use N1's.

Online drifting is usually the N3 or S range of tires so everyone is usually at the same speed.

Offline or just rankings will go for N's

I dont think there will be a GTP team as of yet

i would definatley like to be on the team, nothing serious but just because i love drifting in general and would be great to drift with others. I was doing ok with my DFP till my pedals crapped out on me. I've been using the controller last few days and TEARING things up, usually with n3 tires. It's not as fun or satisfying to me personally without the wheel. I have a G25 on order and should be her mid-week so it'll take some time to get that going with the h-pattern shifter and all. Can't wait. When there are private rooms, im SO IN! :)👍

on a side-note i'm hoping to stop being lazy this weekend and install some minor suspension/sub-frame mods and my tomei 2-way lsd and get some real sliding action in again. it's been a while :)👍

I was havvng fun drifting last night at HSR on R3's funny part is i was catching and passing some people lol. Keep in mind though i wasnt trying to maintain a drift the entire track just in the corners and i didnt even try turn 1, not enuf power for that with R3's. i was running like 1.05-1.04 lap times speed drifting FTW!. it was fun.

edit: actually I think im gonna go back and hit it again, mabye i can get some others to join in :P

HAHA, that's what we do

Some of us can drift turn 1

If you as dking, he was able to catch up and beat a few of the grippers and even had them wipe out when they tried to drift

I also do the same. S2000 made for drift or grip very nice combo. If Im bored ill drift to show off then catch up and win

Yeah I was messing with my set up and loosened up the ol blitz a little to much and kept spinning out in the S-turn. As a result i passed this viper like 3 or 4 times and twice he tryied to drift with me and instantly stuffed it in the wall, Ive been there done that my self but i couldnt help but laugh.

Suzuka is a world event as of right now so anyone that likes to drift can all get together & have epic drift sessions.

Oddly, for some reason after not playing prologue for over 2 weeks I, for the 1st time, figured out how to drift with the Blitz Skyline, for a while i just couldn't get it tuned right. I feel spify now.

yeah i cant seam to get it quite right either at least not for those nice controlled smooth drifts. I either seam to not have enuf response from the front end or its so loose it just anilates the tires. But it sounds so awsome I will figure it out o yes.

what tires are you guys using on the blitz skyline? i have been playing with the controller and using n3 tires. I can't remember the settings but i have it lowered all the way, springs around 6 front 5 rear, dampers 6/6, -3camber front, -2 rear and thats about it. power up, weight down and i have a pretty solid grasp drifting the Suzuka S-turns i can actually connect all the s-turns and the final turn to the straight away (Suzuka East short course). And i actually just started getting the long double right hander at the beginning of the track, i can drift soooooo much better with the controler, but thats because it's easy to go from Full to 0 counter-steer with a tap. It doesn't look pretty as when i drift with a wheel (my DFP pedals failed, G25 will be here in a few days). Can't wait for the wheel to show up, although with my DFP i could only get the first set of s-turns MUCH harder with the wheel, but a lot more rewarding to me. (have drifted in real life) :)👍

I have like no experience with the Blitz. Only with R3 HSR drifting lol

I just took some cars out for practice at Suzuka and It went pretty well. T1 is a bit sloppy but still drifted all of it. Speeds at the S curves are slow... I nearly feel asleep (note this is a person who hasnt drifted on a proper track other than HSR since Fuji last update )

Using a Z4, RX7 or a 512BB.

I played with it some more and im real happy with how it feels now. S3's and +13 to the HP everything else i left at default. Who knew i should have just not messed with it :D

Drifting with it on R3's at HSR i use my racing set up, and just be a bit more libberal with the throttle.

I've got most my cars on s1s (good mix of speed and angle), but changing around any of the tyres feels perfectly fine for me now (N or S). I generally avoid Rs, simply because I like to keep it as close to real as possible and I don't see many drift cars on slicks.

Only HSR can drift with R3's

My race setups are for both drift and race. But it is snappy :indiff:

I usually use N3s or S's

S for the more torque cars and N3's for the underpowered :dopey:
