Hey, anyone up for some testing and tuning tonight? I was going to open a room and move around to the different tracks starting at autumn ring reverse. Let me know.

There will be 1 "adverse weather condition" stage. This was already planned 👍 I'll leave the rest up to specualtion :sly:

Just so everyone knows, this is not dead. Just on hold until I move now. I close on my house next week, so it shouldn't be too much longer before I can start this up. The whole hybrid patch not being overcome didn't help either.

Well I've seen a few hybrids around. There have only been a FEW I've seen but they are out there.

I saw a Lexus IS-F the otherday that was lower than normal. Like Slammed lowered. Also saw a Slammed premium Supra. Another person I drift with saw a 2JZ-GTE Turbo 350Z. Said they heard the blow-off valve and everything.

I also heard a S13 with a V8 in it. And Raced a 1,300hp R35. So there around. But I'm guessing the one's making them are keeping a tight lip on them so they don't get wide spread again.

(I give it one to two months. -_-)

Hey everyone. Sorry it's been so long since my last update. Unfortunately I have some not so good news related to FDS4. I've had some recent events make it extremely hard to even turn my PS3 on for, well anything really, and I don't see any time in the near future for me to have enough time to run this properly.

So, I am open to turning S4 over to a few people to run if they want to. Otherwise I can hold on until GT6 comes out and reboot this when I have time.

That would be a good idea. We would have to replace the rollover contest with something. Lol.
 
There is interest in GT5, just not championships. For example, Spank, your competition was working soo...

Plus when I host my own I almost never have problems getting people wanting to participate...

I would get top 8 filled fast but half of them wouldn't show. That's why 6 out of 8 were MCR members. Then I just have been busy.

Not going to open it to a open lobby to bring in people who are careless to rules and clipping points. VDC did just find in attendance with just Facebook and GTP

What he means is that theres still interest in gt5 but it isnt shown on GTP. There are lots of teams that organise comps that arent on GTP.

Exactly, which are last minute, first come first serve, open lobby company. All but id say just one have been very disorganized. That's why I only use gtp and Facebook, to gather interest a week in advance to make sure we are all on the same level.

Not all of them are last minute. And not all have been disorganised, you just need to find the right hosts.

Last minute meaning; someone decides to do a comp, opens up a lobby of say 8 people, waits till it fills up, then explains rules and regs. That's what I mean by last minute. 👍

Plus 70% of the members on gtp have turned against for some odd reason and that's why they don't show and has made me cancel all my events.

I would join them but work kills my time. And I go to drift events almost every week!

Exactly. Many GT5 vets will return, and many new people will join the scene.

How many games can you think of that are as old as GT5, and still have an active online community.

There isn't any game in my 20+ years of gaming that I have played as much as GT5, it's the best £45 I have ever spent, I can't wait for GT6 :).
