Thursday Rock'n Chair Open at 12:00 Eastern

We'll be using the Mazda LM55 Vision today fellas. I don't have the game open right now but I believe it is found in the Vision dealership if you don't already have one. We'll start at Spa for 6 laps and go from there. As always, default with an oil change. If it doesn't have RH tires put them on it.
 
Good morning geezers, I apologize to Daduce for having responded after several days to his invitation.
I'm happy to know some old-fashioned litters like me :D who still have fun!
I was born in 1946, but I've seen that I'm not the oldest one of you, congratulations to everyone.
I hope I can take part in some of your races on Saturday, though it is the day I have my bigger granddaughter here at home with me, who does not like racing games. He will soon start school and have some commitment on Saturday afternoon, leaving me free to run with you. Thanks again for the invitation !!

Default w/oil chg 614pp, 640hp, 540ft-lbs, 1139kg, 1.77 kg/hp it handles like a dream,, I like it alot! Took it to Tokyo for 4 laps 'cause we've not been there for seems like ages, ran a best (the 4th) lap of 1:38.508 and it was gaining time each lap. Tokyo (forward) I had forgotten how wide and how it flows, so many good places a draft and clean pass is possible. GR8 choice GEEZ!!
 
Thursday Rock'n Chair Open at 12:00 Eastern

We'll be using the Nissan GT-R Black Mask '07 tomorrow. I test drove it on a couple of tracks and it seems pretty good. We'll start at Circuito de Madrid "REVERSE" for 6 laps and go from there. As always, default, oil change,, put Sport Soft tires on it. The last race I still want to run the GT-R LM NISMO '15 at Indy Speedway. Try it,, it's pretty fast - hit 218 no draft, a best of 4 laps: 0.43.985 - and it sounds way cool.
 
i had a thought last time I did not have a mic to talk with the people in the room club. it's a pain to type in that ps3 system. Take hours. I was thinking in make a group in whatsapp that we could easily change voice messages and even have a voice chat during the race with someone that has a good connection and tell others what is going on and avoid typing endless caracteres on ps3. For a matter of security we could use the ps3 chat to exchange the phone numbers. What you guys think about? :-)

I don't know how this works but it sounds like a great idea to get around a very common problem. I think we need to increase the Geezer email list to distribute info. PS3 chat (typing) will not allow phone numbers. Anyone who would like to be on the Geezer email list can send an email to glfrjerry@gmail.com . What do we need to do to try this?

Well, you need the app "whatsapp" it's available for ios or android, and the cel phone number with country code and city code. then we can create a group. Very easy and the communication is very very fast.

Tried it,, was a bit fooled by those little winglets,, thought they would help slow the car sort of like the Tomahawk,, they didn't. A few laps and got used to it. 2:17 and small change was the best i could muster. Did not see that there are adjustments to the trans however and it did "tap out" (MMA lingo) running up the hill alone. No problem tho,, we're all in the same boat so it's all good.

Sorry about the transmission upgrade thing, Geezer moment. I considered two cars, it was the other that had the upgrade. Duce - did you shift to 7th gear?

Good morning "guys", I was very pleased to run with you yesterday.
I had an hour from 2 to 3 and I managed to open a room ... I did not do it for years! then also change and get into yours, a success for me.
I still have to find my sony headset and hope it works, even if I can not understand almost anything you say .....
At SPA I was very fortunate to start first in a race of just 2 laps, nordsc ... he was already eating the road that separated him from me!

Project cars 2, AC just got a big update this week plus a ready to race dlc car pack.
The dlc was $7.99 usd.
If you can get AC for short money in Brazil that maybe the better choice to start with.
The Ferrari dlc is due this week but I haven't seen a price yet for that.

Thanks Joe, what does "AC" mean please? I cannot find anything about that edition. Also, do any of you know if that game is available ONLY in digital form as a download or can we purchase the game on disc. Thanks Geezers,, still wondering how I can play both games BUT we'll see. GTS is the only one I'm buzzed up about - sure hope we're not disappointed.
