I'll be in this too. Just gotta make dinner beforehand so the gf don't get pissy I'm racing, not cooking.

I do the same thing for the fam. I cook a full on feast then there are no complaints.

Tiss or Mike, whoever is doing the points update. Make sure Mav goes back to 0 points for switching cars. I know he's here just for fun but the points sheet will get all screwy.

Yup, I'll be updating the sheet in a few minutes

He should have 35 points, not 0. If he switched again it will be reset to whatever points he scores tonight (35 LOL)

Edit: I did win a 10 lap race vs him today in the r8 05 against his 908 though, lol. Maybe there's hope! (He crashed on my tail halfway through lap 10 and most likely would have used the draft to win.)

Standings are finally updated!

From the back at the hardest track to come through the field no less. At least he didn't check out on me until lap 20 or so, he let me race him a while. I have to say, I'd never raced with him before today, as he just always left me super quick, but he is really fun to race with and it's eye opening how precise he is with his lines.

He's got this feel figured out in his cars where he can really turn it through the apexes without pushing the nose at all, and he just crushes people from the center off the corner. He drives in deeper too, lol.

I watched his replays alot today he is a machine, exact same line every time.

By the way BK, your point lead over me is safe as I'll be missing the race next week. I'll try to find a way to make the season finale, but unless season 2 gets moved to Thursdays I won't be competing next season.

That's not to say Allin, Tiss, or Drum won't come get you for the championship, lol.

Nice pics Allin.

I got to experience being in the lead for the first 4-5 laps so that was pretty helpful to learn how to keep controlled.

Now to go work on the Pescarolo...

Great race Drum, you were quick. Gogators (spelling?) sorry for the tap out while passing, and thanks for allowing the other pass. Posiloan also deserves a tip of the hat for allowing the leaders to pass very clean.

Well I was lapped by the Mav the controller once again. I just don't get it? Also, how are his lap times just as fast on worn tires? Must have awesome camber/ toe setup and take it easy on the brakes. That along with his turning flow. Wow.

Roadrash ditched me after a good few rounds of follow the leader. Other than that I was all alone.

I don't know about everyone else but my eyes were so blurry by the end of the race. That track is definitely young mans territory. I'm still stumped by how fast mav is on worn tires. Barely a wiggle from his normal racing line. Good race though for me I thought for my first LMP race. Hope didn't get in anyone's way

I could have 1 stopped it, but the grip level was going hard after 17 laps. I find that if you coast through some of the turns, you can hold your times about the same. Instead of all out pace, after being pushed back to 6th/7th I just concentrated on setting consistent times. So I was doing 1:12s or 1:13s, 12 or 13 laps straight. Some were doing 1:11s then slowed to 1:14s, but keeping steady pace and not overdriving corners allowed me to hold steady laps. I'll take this knowledge into Saturdays race.
