Managed 1:38.011 first time out with the tuned.
But i just checked the rankings and it seems that my lap disappeared.
Mad94's time is gone also... i wonder y.
 
125th with a 1.53.260 in the stock car. I'm a bit proud of that.
Do us controller-using awesome dudes get ranked against those with steering wheels?

Still got plenty of room for improvement for the stock car, but didn't have enough time to practice more. Will do more after my exams. :D

Mad94d is there. Looks correct to me, although I have slipped a spot. Still #1 for USA thought. :)

Yeah he is on that link, so am I but its not updating for me but is seems to fo others. I do faster times and nothing... Plus my in game leader board is missing many people (everyone quick it seems) including you. It was fine before.

It's possible that there's different leaderboards for various regions. As they're coming online we're all getting shunted into more appropriate ones. Sucks that you can't see everyone at once though.

Maybe, but I still get a mix of regions expect Japanese and I lost Mad94d (in my region)

it's odd but glad I'm not the only one with the prob.

The Japanese are not gonna be happy with all these foreigners on their leader board, especilaly you mad94d :D

Something odd going on, I am now on a totally different leaderboard as others.

No Japanese anymore, Mad94d is off the board too, everyone is rather off pace and my old times (top 10 in both cars) are gone.... and now with almost no effort I get put on top of the board.


Also this wont update my times anymore, I have done much quicker

Same thing happened to me. MAD94D was no. 1, but now he's gone, it's saying I'm no 7 with tuned, and No. 3 with stock, and I haven't put in a real decent lap yet.
 
Why are there 3 boards on the site? I don't seem to be on any of them. I imagine one is for tuned, one for stock...but the third?
 
Now doing: Pestering my brother to let me on his PS3. It should be available in the UK now (didn't want to go to the effort of making a new PSN id)

I'll be using a pad. Estimates based on my prologue ranks (which i havn't put much effort into at all) means i will be lapping 1:40-41ish in the tuned and 1:52ish in the standard. But if i put the hours in those times will tumble.

after 2 laps, ive figured that braking and turning and missing the apex are a real bad idea, its soo easy to loose the rear end too.

Mad94 is still faster then the first Japanese, but not on the Japanese site anymore.

I would hope nobodys putting a whole lot of stake in the times up right now, I'd guess less than half the serious competition hasn't even started yet. :)

This is of note, on my new Japanese ID, every ID on the leaderboards is Japanese, except one British. So I think they're going to divide us by our own regions, but I guess time will tell.

Perhaps PD would like to sort out people from different regions to their own, so GTP_Mad94d will be put back to Australia's leaderboard later on. Just my guess. :)
 
Just had a quick run in the standard car.

First time was 2.02, I went off at T4.

Second lap was 1.55 or there abouts. Apparently putting me in 24th, which doesn't sound right to me. I'm not very good at games you see.
 
What happened to the rankings? Before it said the best lap was a 1:48 in the stock, now it's saying 1:49. Did they get reset? I was 46th just now with a time 2 seconds better than that guy ^^^
 
I predict that a lot of new and fast times will be posted up this evening when people with day jobs like myself get home and finally manage to play it.
 
My overall rank is 78 and im calling it quits tonight. I'll do another round tomorrow... Been playing since 12:30 nonstop. 0_0
