GTP online lobbies

Hi, just wondering do GTP run lobbies, I have seen that there are race series but cannot seem to find information about online lobbies that are set up randomly by GTP users with posted details on what kind of lobby they run. Is this something thats usually available but not so much at the moment due to GT5 being old?
