GTP RACING via PSN chat room

Hello I want to Start a PSN chat room for people to who want to coordinate races with other GTP racers. The chat room will be called GTP RACING if you would like to recieve an invite to the chat room, Please state your PSN name here. The more people who join the more chance we will have of getting a race going, Ill only start one room right now, but as we get more and more people to join, more chat rooms ill make and the faster we will be able to set races up ect...This way will just be alot easier to find races with other GTP members without adding 80 people to your friends list. Instead of trying to find a race on here you can just sign into the chat room and see whos on. Remember to never delete the chat room and always make sure you LEAVE the chat room when done racing to make room for other people who might want to race. This is not a weekly commitment! Its for when you randomly want to race some good competition . SO GET ON THE LIST PEOPLE! lol

Awesome theres one! thanks alot, once people understand my reasoning for this and they see how useful it is i think it will "take off". I'll make the room and send you an invite tommorow. It wont work properly until theres alot people signing up...so come on everyone at least get your name on the list so you can receive the invite.

I can say that I totally agree with purposes behind the idea of a having a widely accepted PSN 'Race Chat'. I have tried to set something up like this in the past, its just certain people cant 'wrap there heads' around the fact that not everyone is happy to have there PC running the whole time there racing (thats if they can setup there Net connection like that). The simplicity of the PSN chat is what makes it so great.
It's not the worlds best chat facility but it works for what we need it for.👍

I'm up for it, hopefully this chat will prove its worth!

You may not want to do that race combo.
You may have the wrong disc for that combo.

edit: Quite a few don't like to post as well.

Why do we need a chat room if we know the race schedules? to talk about the races? as has been the race and that sort of things?
Is this chat room only for GTP team?
moreover, I see a problem, chat rooms capacity is 16 players, I say this because at the Fuji-Integra event I was invited to the chat room and I couldn't enter because it was full

Liz, if you know the race schedule the chat is unnecessary. The chat is a great thing if you need to make a quick post-race apology for something.

This chat isnt for specific races or events...its a place to gather and decide as a group at anytime of day or night. As the list grows, so will the number of different chat rooms, so nobody should be left out. All we need is lots of PEOPLE for this to work right. And yes this is just for GTP members, and we should race by standard GTP rules. Im going to start the room and send out the invites, REMEMBER to never DELETE the chat room.

Nothing is wrong with these threads, just think of it as a GT "Clan chat" in game.

You didn't know that? Anyway I have lotsa room on my GTP tag. Once it's out there it can spread quicker, I have 12 or so active-ish GTP guys added.

If you have other GTP members (AND ONLY GTP MEMBERS!)on your friends list spread the word an invite them to the chat rooms too. after you receive the invites to the chat rooms, you can remove me from your friends list.

As long as your part of this website, and you race CLEAN. If there starts to be people wrecking on purpose or we have inexperienced racers in our races then, I will have to get a little more strict on who is allowed in. I think in the future it would be good if we all registered in the week gtp time trial. And then we could have different Chat rooms for Gold, Silver, Bronze ect...but for now, as long as you have registered to the site, you can race, that means you too mcqueen.

that way maybe we could get some Div. based chat rooms. This wont happen soon, the word has still yet to spead.

Its ok, might take a couple more weeks for things to get rolling, but im going to be in the chat room tommorow Thursday @ 3 pm (pst) for a couple hours depending if anyone shows up, i would just like to test it out so accept FR asap so i can send you the chat invite, then I will remove you from my friends list. hopefully we can work this out get a few races in.
