@Ziggy, That's not an aristo, lol it's a Carina. It's the FF that's in this game... picked one up the other day and tried to use it in the FF seasonal, but it's waaaaaay to slow. Granted i only half modded it. Alas, it does have some terrible stance.

Hopefully i can get a VIP'd car up and running... I know all the VIPs i have have terrible stance...my IS-F, GS300... i don't really wanna use a C63, as everyone and their mommas are gonna use that

The one I posted earlier was over cambered (intentionally) but I'll post my other one here in a minute ..and ya..Carina..kinda looked like an aristo at short glance but unmistakably different now that I look..lol
 
lol even i thought the Carina and Aristo share the same headlights. Although at some angles, the Carina does look like the early 90's Camry and Avalon.

I gotta check back to my Matte IS-F and see it's stance... I think VIP can consist of regular stance and Oni-Kyan...although oni-stance is pretty cool; i'd love to pull that off unedited on GT5

I'm guessing it's allowed, since it's easily applied to non JDM cars aswell. As I interpret it, it's basically what the local drug dealer drives to show off + shiny wheels.

Audi RS6, MB C63 and BMW M5 come to mind as european counterparts.


Same goes for missile's IMO. Missile: Cheap RWD car to practice drifting with. Main reason beeing, you won't have to worry about crashing it - so you can take more risk and learn more/faster.
Again, European counterparts: BMW E30/E36, Volvo 300 series, Ford Sierra. Can't think of any, apart from the Volvo 240, that are in GT5 though.

Missile will be JDM only as there is no need to go Euro with this one as the choice for Missiles goes on and on.. Such as PS13 RPS13, S14, Mx5 (miata), R31, Trueno AE86 and the old RX7. etc.

For VIP, If we encounter Euro's, It will just be a replay of the Euro Comp...
So I think JDM only (that includes Lexus even though GT5 only has the US Spec Lexus's.)
I had a look and there's a fair choice! And Editors might have a bit more of a challenge with the Camber involved.
Missile will be a good challenge for both categorise, edited and non-edited.
 
No the Standard one.. If you dont know what Missiles are, ask or look it up. youtube/google etc.
An FD wouldnt unless edited in my opinion.. but the FC defo would.

:lol: I know which kind of cars are VIP's and missile's. I just wanted to know which type's of cars were eligible, because we already had a Euro comp and I had a feeling a lot of entries may have been Euro cars.

come on missle stancers, show the AE86 some love. there are 3 options the 83' sprinter trueno, 83' corolla levin and the sprinter trueno S.S. version (the initial d tofu car)

This 86 isn't VIP.... its not a Luxuary/Family Car. Its a Retro lightweight sports car. If anything, Its Japan's version of HellaFlush.

Yeah man, this is why I now let everyone know in advance about the next themes.. Its great the community are discussing about it though!
The Comp Details will be posted anyday this weekend so I know all the details to add and some! :P

I guess starting a discussion about the theme's was a good thing Blitz, but I think some of you guys need to have a better look through the thread, sometimes reading discussions can help us avoid making mistakes
 
Yes! ;D I Posted a simplified explanation for Missile, VIP and Hellaflush. But It doesnt matter too much, just means I have to explain more than I need to when it comes to the competition! xD

I love the rear lights on these 370GT's! Plus they do sit really nice with the bigger option wheels and Zero'd camber! ;) Although mine has around 1.2 F and 0.8 B... thats not for the looks though. :P
 
I think I'm attending the Drift Matsuri tonight, so I don't think I'll be able to make FaF Later. :(
