I have some good stance cars i was messing around in yesterday. First time i ever used a hill to slam the car. It was fun. Im warming up for vip stance.

I think now I get how to him this crap . :)

Just park my car , put some nice rims , silver or black and fit a camber -3 on both wheels.

The 1st non-edited place I always like this .
 
For the Next Comp, there may be some changes to the Category's:
** This is just an Idea. **


Edited will now be Premium.
Full Edits that add the Stance appeal, i.e Lowering, Stickers, Wheels etc, etc.

Non-Edited will now be Standard.
GT5 Photomode, Colour Correction, Canvas changes will also be allowed.


This is to stop people from Entering in the Edited category with just small colour correction edited. Not always being a fair match against the more 'wild' editors.

Making these small changes available to the 'Standard' wont make this category anywhere near as fair, as It's not all about the overall quality of the picture, but as this is a Photo Gallary.. It does Help! :D



If you would like to appeal against this idea, or have any questions... Please feel free to talk amongst yourselves about this as an idea in early stages!

Honestly, I don't really care much that I didn't win, but the non-edited winners.... where is the "Wow" factor in those cars... 👎

Another thing, this looked more like a drifting pics competition than a stance comp. Also, the cars don't have to be damaged to be a "missile", I hate that people think of missiles as beaten up cars only.

For what I saw in the vids seemed to me the only Idea to match the bumper :/

Most of them are though, they are famous for being beat-up and for practising drifting in. ;) You do get the od minter though yeah!
Plus this is a Stance competition your right, there were alot of 'Action' shots that didn't even show case any Stance. For those reasons, Us Judges hand picked these two.
This competition did seem to go off track with the whole Stance thing.
But Maveric, Im sorry that you didn't win and you don't need to care but I respect your work and photography. Better Luck next time! You can never be too sure how to make the Judges happy but sticking to what they asked for helps! 👍 :cheers:

I dont want to go in too deep now Ep.3 has passed, Just wait untill this weekend for Ep.4 ! ;)

Welcome, and I will be making everything as clear as I can! It will be explained sometime before the comp aswell. It may also help if you looked into it yourself on youtube etc, etc. You can get some Idea's for the Comp. :)
Also feel free to ask any questions on this Thread regarding themes, car's etc. :D:tup:

I don't answer to Private Opinions on Entry's etc. but anything regarding Stance is fine if you want my opinion or answer.

I know not all are beaten up, but most of the missile's I've seen have a few war wounds. So I felt my entry would fit the theme a little better if the car had some bruises

But yay :dopey: I won :cheers:

Why not? a missile is a cheap and easily replaced car used as a training tool. It's to let you go "all out" without a care, so of course there are gonna be battle scars. There's a huge difference between "Missile" and "Drift Car." I was disappointed with the choices, especially when they're both very analogous and lifeless, but whatever, onto the next round :)

Not really looking for anything. :lol: My points is, say for example I bought a 240SX for $2000, I already have mastered drifting so I have the car perfectly uncrashed & clean, no damage whatsoever, it's still falls under a drift missile. I know a lot of people use them to learn but there's also people that take care of their missiles. Personally, I know somebody who uses a 240SX '96 as his drift car, it cost him $1700 I think it was, & he has that car spotless, & it's still a missile.
