All Racingworld's idea.
Making clean passes is integrated in the process so don't worry.
Ok, good to know. Just so everyone understands, I'm not real good at racing so please, go easy on me.

Don't worry; - You're not alone (I'm not good either). But, I'm pretty sure, we'll all become better drivers, after this event.
The 21:00 GMT on sat will be perfect for me (if I am not working over time ) the wife is at work I have the house too my self so no out side distractions
I'm glad that someone is the same boat with me. That is my main concern, running into the rear of other's and getting booted!!Just to add a second point to my post, I'm not real good with other cars on the track unless we are only turning left, lol. Might wanna put me in the lowest division there is for this, lol.

I was amazed how fast both you and Al got faster, do you attribute that to 3D3 racing? We'll actually that is how you learn it, and in this series there will be no problem made about such things, aslong you prove to try and do it better the next lapAnd if that does not work out, listen to what others have to say, I have learned a lot of things and became a lot faster thanks to online racing. And believe me I had more off my share being all time in the back of the field, we understand some people do not want to try and get better like that, as it gets demotivating for some. By joining these series you will be able to get in contact with close racing, with people just like you ; Tryin to get better....

Looking forward to thisI'm assuming this requires a GTP tag? Haven't logged in on mine since my last PS3 died... Need to find out the email...

Correct GTP_tag is needed, as we will run these races in our 3D3 racing rooms.
Good to see you're considering participation Dan.
An obligation to participate weekly is not there. Just like it's the case in the WRS-TT's and WRS-OE's.
If you want to participate in a certain week on a certain combo, you just sign up for it.
In case you don't have time (or don't fancy the combo) the week after, you can just skip that one and sign up again the week after that.
This Academy series will probably use the same combo (good for close racing and easy to drive) for several weeks so people can see improvement for themselfs.

Currently, I am medically constrained to devote much time to TT events unless it is a track that isn't too long and/or doesn't include a lot of braking, however, this event may help alleviate some seat-time withdrawal syndrome until and if the foot problems get resolved.
This series would depend on the number of laps in a 25-30 minute session, which, of course, would depend on the selected track.
I did post an interest poll selection of 21:00 on Saturdays but do have a question.
I know one is not obligated to participate in the events, but if agreed to, would one be obligated to participate on a weekly basis or could you pick and choose, i.e., the weekly TT events?
You would be able to pick and choose, ofcourse the room is limited to 16 players meaning we would use the registery on a first come, first serve regulation. Like explained by Christophe.
If there's demand we could always split up into two rooms.
will a link be posted for the races?

I'm in this boat as well. My racing experience consists almost entirely of bumper cars and AI.
I'd love to get in on this but my schedule is sporadic at best. The later times work best but may still be a little early for me. I wouldn't mind jumping in on occasion but my participation would be anything but regular. If nothing else, I'd love to follow along as a spectator and see if I can pick anything up from everyone else.
I'm guessing if people are willing to help outside these time slots, it can be arranged.
