Do you ever sleep?
I wake up early. The wife works at a hospital, so I kinda wake up when she does early in the morning. I was asleep by the time the American race should have ended last night (one reason why I only raced in the European race); so yes, I get sleep.
I'm a student (old for one, I know...don't judge) and I do some side jobs at home, so I have a lot of free time on my hands until I graduate this year. By the way the economy is, I might still have a lot of free time after that.

I'm a little confused about some of the weight/body modifications we can make to the MP4-12C. In the pictures it shows the car with a carbon hood (I saw the clips). Are we allowed to use a carbon hood or is the picture showing an illegal car?
Under the weight details it says "1228 (stage1) or 1230 or 1240 KG Minimum (w/X ballast)". What does this mean? Does it mean that we are only allowed to use either Stage 1 Weight Reduction to bring it to 1228? Have the weight set at 1230 with no reduction or added weight? Have a weight of 1240 with weight added to the ballast to get to 1240? According to what it says, we are only allowed to pick one of those three options, but it makes little sense to me. How much ballast can we give the car? 2 KG? 12?

That was my mistake installing the carbon hood for the photo shoot. It is not allowed.

Yes sorry the weight restrictions are not clear. We are going to go with 1230 KG. Apply Stage 1 weight reduction, then add 2KG ballast. Feel free to slide the ballast around the car wherever you want. Carbon hood is not allowed as Al clarified in his post.
As a general rule, regs highlighted in orange are something that isn't quite final yet, and we are still testing. We will get these all wrapped up as soon as possible.

I also found the power reduction confusing. When choosing all the parts and applying the tunes I saw the 502bhp and wondered why I had way more. I'm assuming this will be easy to police, as well as the weight. Maybe highlight that the power needs to be reduced
The car is really fun to drive, I am looking forward to long runs in it

Anybody wanna open a room? My internet is a bit broken only have 0.66 mbs/s down instead of 50 so I doubt me hosting a room would be a succes.

After doing some practise, I decided to go for the GT3 car. I do like both, but like @pilmat stated, it will be more relaxed to drive this car during a 2.4 hr race. And after looking at the registry it also does mean I would be racing against some people i am arlready comfortable arround.
This track is brand new for me, except for some F12012 races and the occasional run in the 'career' mode, so still need a lot of practise. At the moment I am using Mika's tune 👍, the car is stable and has a lot of grip, imo it is more fun to drive this car in GT6 then it was in GT5....
I have a room up now (friends only) so if you wanna join, but are not on my friends list, just send me a request.

Car Specs have all been firmed.
Please check the OP to ensure your car is at the correct specs. The main thing to note which could be easily missed is that the MP4 needs 2 KG ballest to get it up to 1230 KG total. Additionally, the online lobbies do not allow us to get the HP to the exact amount of the F1, however other than engine stage 3, the only power upgrades are turbo kits and these can be verified via replay.
