GTP WTAC Week 56 : Classic Revisit

Chapparal 2d - 3'39.331. Hahaha, I made it.
Grass beside the track is horrible. If two wheels are on it, it's almost impossible to get them onto the tarmac again.
Start my nightmarish trip with GT40...Time is limit. Let me take a shortcut to chase dan's ghost, hoho.

Like Dan, I too will be leaving these two cars in my favorites (oddly enough, neither car was in it before this past Monday). I'm actually a bit sad that the challenge is just about over - I was having fun with these two!

Here's my entry. Can't say that I liked the track or the GT-40 but I loved the 2D, it kind of reminds me of Speed Racer's car.

Not my best effort with the Ford GT40 (not much time to play) and a messy lap with not the best lines and I screw up the last chicane wuth both cars. Not happy with that.

Thanks easy! The Lexus LFA is my favourite car (currently) so that's why I chose to use it as my wallpaper. The only problem is the text can be a bit hard to read because of the white finish of the Lexus LFA. I've changed it to the 458, my second most favourite car.

Most of the wallpapers I use for the PSP are also the wallpapers I use for the laptop. The only problem is the PSP doesn't change wallpapers every hour, unlike my laptop which set different wallpapers. If anyone knows a hombrew app which allows alternating wallpapers for the PSP's XMB, please let me know.

+1! The bottom right shot of the GT40 and the photo in the first column, third row of the Chaparral is my favourite. 👍

To speak the truth, I'm not really in the right mood to play GT PSP, lots of thing is going on and I lose patience even quicker than usual... And now I missed deadline... I had a 3'31.xxx + 3'42.xxx by the way.

Great combos are coming up but I still don't know if I'll be in : I might take this opportunity to take a little break, clear things up !

But don't worry about me and have fun !

First off, please excuse my tardiness. It's been a very busy day for me.

Secondly, I have to congratulate Dan360 for his very nice win over MVR08 on a very challenging track! To get the win with a half-second lead over the second place car is quite a nice accomplishment. Both competitors were very fast in these two classic racecars.

pvr77 grabbed a bronze for yet another podium finish. This keeps the reigning champion within striking distance after the first week. red ice and vaughan both fared admirably at la Sarthe - especially considering how difficult the Ford GT40 can be to drive aggressively!

We missed Spiral and easyasashii (who needs to take a little time off to recharge the batteries), but we'll eventually get them back! Oni91 wasn't able to join in the festivities this past week due to lack of funds to buy the cars, but we hope to see them for this week's challenge.



I should take a screenshot of this page - I'm only three points off the lead! I'm pretty certain I won't be that close again for the rest of the session!

Got off track at the end of Mulsanne Kink, so i guess I don't deserve the points this week.
