GTP WTAC Week 57 : Family Reunion

I have a love-hate relationship with both the Elise and the Costa di Amalfi track. One the one hand, I love how both look (they practically beg me to watch each replay!)... but I also have trouble staying off the stone walls with the Elise and it's oversteer. It's almost as if the walls are magnetic! The Opel Speedster looks different, but I love it's styling just as much as the Elise. It has a bit too much understeer, but I am better at tuning that out than I am with oversteer.

Again, fantastic combo this week Detroit! 👍 This week was a blast for me. 👍 I loved the Elise with the S2 tires, my favorite part was the walled section between turns 5 and 6. Going through those bends in 3rd gear with the engine screaming... ah, good times!!! 
On a side note, I had a 2'17.3xx with the Speedster but found some sparks at turn 2 (of all turns).

Could not make it this week sorry, something presented this morning and wasn´t able to post my times.
Great combo this week I love this track and the cars (I really miss this track and Citta di Aria in GT5) the Elise is one of my favorite cars of GT5 to drive with S1 tyres is so much fun. I was able to brake a couple of times to 1´16.xxx with the Opel but unclean in one turn (so frustrating!) my faster clean lap was 1´17.4xx but that let me sunday night without even run the Elise so I did a rushed time 1´13.5xx.
Some Pics (not as good as red ice´s photos) I barely used the photo mode in GT4 so I´m not good at it.

This was a 'movement' week. Everyone, except Dan, changed positions in the overall standings - that's a lot of action on our leaderboards!
Taking 1st place this week was pvr77, who was roughly 2.5 seconds faster than the 2nd place finisher, Dan360. Way to go, guys!
Just barely missing his first podium finish was vaughan. But, with the continued improvement that he's shown recently, I know he'll be standing on that podium sometime in the near future. Keep it up, vaughan!
Overall, Dan retains his grip on first place. Jumping up to second place is pvr77... and we saw vaughan leap from sixth to fourth place after this past week. Great job, everyone!
