Got .8 off my time :D

17.605
26.754
22.205

I did see some dust clouds come up on sector 2 but as long as two wheels are on tarmac it's legit right?

👍

After an hour of getting used to the car, these are my splits:

17.018
26.542
21.807

Splits looking mighty fine for division 5 mate. Wheel or Sticks?

DS3 sticks. Wish I had the money for a wheel but the DS3 will have to do for now unless I could find a rich girlfriend to buy me one :-)

No Division 4 or 5 takers for the Week 104 : WRS 10 Year Event #1 - Grip Sensei race tonight???? Come on gents...don't let me be the only one to get beat by these Division 1 -3 racers!!! :scared:

Had a tooth extracted, Dentist dug around to get an extra root out. Damn jaw hurts like hell and I'm not in the mood!! This is tough on an old fart like me. :grumpy:

Ouch! Hope you're back on form again soon Firecracker 👍

Just had a good run where I was knocking out fast lap after fast lap. Not sure if I'll be able to beat that lap since I was in the zone for it.

16.503
26.169
21.721

I got the "Dry Socket" treated today and picked up some clove oil to self treat the cavity. thanks to all who were concerned. I will be back in the drivers seat tomorrow trying to improve my times in the Trial.

Marginal improvement.

Had one storming lap but on the replay it was a 50/50 call as to being off line so I had to bin it. Can't get close to it now :(

Slower through the splits, but nailed the last corner to marginally improve.

Stupidly did the rigidity improvement, and spent the last couple of sessions breaking in a new car. It made it understeer through all the fast corners. Even with a lot of negative rear toe.

T1 16.628
T2 26.024
T3 21.599

Seen a few more 1'04.0s by the end of the 3rd sector but then I loose too much time anticipating the last corner. Still a lot of room to improve.

Edit: Damn, was up .381 on my ghost by the end of sector 2, then threw it away - spinning on the curb at the right at the top of the hill.

Improved by .7 last night. I had noticed on my replays that the accelerator was not maxed out on straights, but I knew I was not lifting. Did some searches and found how to clean the pots on my G27 pedals. That did the trick, accelerator is not bouncing around any more. Not sure how long I have been racing that way, I think for a while as I saw that before on older replays, but did not think much about it.

Where did you get the trick from, I'm still having small dabs of brake when I'm not even braking. Seems to only happen on bumpy tracks though as I didn't get it in Tokyo

Found a few more tenths but I think I'm getting to my limit with his one and am now starting to make way too many errors.

Here are the video and instructions I used. My accelerator was bouncing up and down, but it no longer does it. I thought it was maybe bumpy tracks, but on the current time trial my accelerator shows fully depressed even on bumps if I have the pedal fully depressed.

Slightly faster lap:

T1 16.438
T2 25.989
T3 21.607

Still looking for two tenths over the first 3 sectors hopefully.

Just had a quick question about the exit of the final turn.
The area on the left of where the starting grid is there's a white line. Am I allowed to have all 4 wheels over the line as its still tarmac, or is it considered a run-off?
Cheers

No ,that part is not considered a run-off so it is legal to use.

We try every week to pin down what is allowed and what not and that divers almost each week.
This week lots of questions about what is legal track.
btw,Questions are good because it can prevent a DQ.👍

Race specifics are a must to read because it overrules the standard Clean OLR .

Race Specifics:

  • The event MUST be run using your GTP_Tag Account
  • The use of the clutch that is found on the G25, G27, and other high end racing wheels is strictly prohibited.
  • No Contact with walls or other objects. Any contact with walls, no matter how minor, will result in a DQ.
  • Red and White Rumble Strips and Tarmac are Track Surface. This includes also the yellow painted tarmac.

Seeing the race specifics of this week I can only see one adjustment that might delete most confusion.

Perhaps if we used: Red and White Rumble Strips and All Tarmac are track surface.

Sometimes minor things can makes alot of sense.

Only one corner i think i could marginally improve on this lap so I'll call it a week with these splits.

16.348
26.155
21.617

@ 434bhp with a car that's done 20 miles. Beat previous best already by two tenths. Old car had chassis reinforcement (avoid!)

16.450
25.958
21.665

Poor 3rd and 4th sectors. Not sure I have time for much more understeer :scared:
