Nice combo 👍

Quick question on what's considered rumble and what's not...

The kerbing on the 2 parts of Roggia is only half painted red/white... there's a portion of it on the inside that's not painted... is this still considered rumble?

EDIT:
1st splits (only using the red & white parts of the rumble in Roggia)

22.235
38.659

A touch more to come in T2 as slighly missed the apex in Lesmo 1, and also braked slightly late for Ascari, understeering slightly wide in the 1st part, so another 0.1-0.2 to come at the line.

Using 5,7 brake balance, which seems to help with trail braking.

I guess no but maybe i'm wrong

22.399

Sweet car 👍 still adjusting to the combo but hopefully I can make some more time on the next session... Monza is not my fave track but the car is hard to resist

22.291
39.215

More to come... :dopey:

The car is very insecure at the rear, that makes it very hard to control i think (play with DS3), but that´s the challenge to get it around Monza - not easy but fun :D

Time

22.461
39.120

Improved a little in mid sector

22.403
38.935

Hey just wanted to certify my lap time and it says i´m not registered.. I hope there are no complications but i did all like it was requested. How long does it usually take?

Al

Ok thank you guys, will try some different settings now.

Hmm can´t really say how it feels at the wheel but im suprised 4/8 works very fine to me, we have fast straights and also quite fast turns so i think after braking a bit the car rear breaks out a bit and the front points into the turn and then you can just hit the gas, but this is my feeling on the DS3 :)

That would be the first chicane, correct? Keep it on the obvious red and white parts closest to the tarmac.

The PM you received from us after you submitted your time explained that you would need to wait 2-4weeks before being able to participate in these time trials.
It pointed you at the New Drivers thread where it will be announced.

Also, please use the Edit button on your existing post instead of double- or triple-posting. ;)

Hi Stotty. Are you using AS strong with those (nice) times?

Hey... yes, using AS strong. I might try it without as well though as I think it will be a bit harder to drive, but ultimately faster.

First go at this one,

22.338
38.604

I had a 150mph save on the exit on T1, how I didn't end up in a crumpled heap in the barriers I do not know! :scared:

Lovely last photo!

Might have a run on this, sounds great, cheers Lucas and Kevin :)

Thanks, Matt. I liked that photo a lot too, 2nd only to the first one (the drifter:dunce:). Probably time for an avatar change, methinks. ;)

@Jon: Glad you came out for this one. I'd love to reprise our battle here in the Opera Z, but probably won't have any more tries. Congrats on already dusting me. :P

Nice to see you found your way back to the WRS 👍 I have been a huge fan of your tunnings in the seasonals events....still love your SLS tune

Thanks Lucas, I couldn't resist this combo and I've always enjoyed Monza anyway. I'm on a short timeline this week as we're on vacation from Friday afternoon but will try and get in as many sessions as possible.

I understand what I'm aiming for now and have what I think are competitive times for all sectors - just need to collect them all on the same lap and I'll be golden :sly:

Thanks 👍

Can't find the same motivation for the Seasonals with no tuning, and off work for the week, so thought I'd have a go at this one :)

22.272

A/S is certainly helping this week, couldn't get near with it off

All aboard the AS bandwagon! Look forward to try it out later. I'd only just broken my habit of using it too ;)

Anyone got a good feel on BB? I quite like 4/6, 5/7 and 6/8, but I still can't quite get the tail out nicely, in parabolica and lesmo1 in particular. Managed a 38.9 in t2 and 1'01.235 yesterday, but failed to convert. Needs several more sessions!

Hmmm, I shall have to give AS a go if everyone else is having good results. Didn't get a run in yesterday as I was practicing some ABS0 silliness but looking forward to some laps tonight.

Bummed to hear that AS is such a big help this week. I refuse to use it so if I can't keep up I guess I just won't submit.

I'm using 4/5 bb.

Same. I'm seeing 1'01.2xx right now but since I don't want to use it I want to see how things pan out before submitting.

Glad to see some guys taking a stand against Active Steering. 👍 Enzo would approve. :D

It kind of defeats the purpose of a pure sports car.

Is Active Steering useful for DS3 drivers? I tested it for Week 110 and noticed no difference at all. What should I feel exactly when it's set to Strong?

I didn't remember this car needs a braking parachute in its back. :dopey:

My first splits:

22.262
39.039

Hi everyone, long time no see you.

Glad to see some guys taking a stand against Active Steering. 👍 Enzo would approve. :D

I'm AS free so far. The only time I've tried it in past events it didn't agree with me. Was tempted to run without ABS as well for the full F40 effect, but there are too many big stops around here to be even close to competitive (for me at least).

Will see how things progress, but I'll be sure to advise if posted splits include AS

I am a recent convert to a wheel and tried AS with the DS3 on many occasions but only ever found that it typically added to my lap times. The only time I ever really felt any benefit was during the PD Corvette TT around Trial mountain and there I noticed that it helped to tame over-steer.....other than that I never really found it useful. I suspect it's one of those things that's highly personal though so you may have a different experience.
