I seem to be quite fond of 22.24s in sector 1. :P Definitely another tenth (or bit more) to be had in sector 2 and another half a tenth or so in sector 3... so its that 2 tenths I'm looking for. Should have a couple of hours to spare this week to chase it down.

New splits. Had a pretty busy day today with a few doctors appointments and some tests, so I was pretty tired when I got home. Managed about an hour track time and improved slightly. Will start getting serious tomorrow after a good nights sleep. Peace.

Look out if Mitch get serious! :scared:

Nah man, its nothing like that. I just meant that the runs that I have taken so far was just feeling out the track and car and dialing in my tune. Now I can just concentrate on improving my time. I didn't mean it to sound elitist at all. Not an alien or even close, just a man on a mission.👍

Since I'm finally officially in the registry, I'm gonna give this combo everything I got starting tomorrow in hopes of possibly getting promoted to D1 Silver in the future.

I guess the car can be broke in running the combo so I'll probably just wind up the rubber band and brake it in that way hoping it gets stronger and grows into a bungy cord so I can wonder why I'm not going fast enough

After not putting the extra parts on and running with 214bhp, I then ran with stock aero.

Some ds3 laps after de-n00bing

Impressive, Lou. I have no idea how I used to drive well like this  really struggling to exit the last corner without oversteer. Potentially 51 flat with the pad I think, not too bad!

If anyone asks me at which track are you bad and which do you hate the most it would be this one, no matter the layout  . Will give it a try.

First go with the wheel and at full power

I've had much better splits, but no better laps. Cannot get t3 right for the life of me, the tunnel sections are a pain in the arse and that slidey left hander after the split is killing me :banghead:

Couldn't use Chris's setup, at least not the diff anyway, that's a division 1 diff  - switch to 9/16/16 if like me, you are a bit ham-footed :)

Went with my own top-of-the-head setup for this, and still have some work to do on it. Had a small slide at the send of sector two, but pb so far is

22.905
29.252

I've been faster in parts, but can't string the whole lap together yet.

:P The only corner where the loose diff is really a problem is the tight left after the tunnel at the T2 split. I've switched mine up to 5/16/10 which tightens it up nicely I think. Remember to keep some throttle mid corner though - when the downforce comes off, it still breaks away like the regular Elise.

Keep missing that extra tenth hesitating too much through the double right in sector 2. Lost a bit in sector 3 as well so still about 2 tenths out there. Best 1st sector so far is 22.176.

DFR is a pretty hectic circuit. Once you're off the main straight, its just bend leading into bend. How you exit each bend is crucial to how you enter the next. This might help a bit in threading the line:

This is going to take me a few weeks maybe a month or so to get back into the swing of things. A year off really slows a person down.

That is helpful, thanks. Your youtube channel has another subscriber!

Very nice tune vagabond!! Using the stock gears as of now, but you've tamed the tail happy Elise with your tune IMO. 👍

I'm nearing the limits of this non broken in car. Using Chris's setup with a diff of 5/22/8

Edit:
22.484
28.233

Much better T2 but with a slightly slower T3. I'm gaining power too, with 246hp.

Nice splits. If you would have broken in your car as I, and others, had suggested, you wouldn't have to run with a non broken in car.💡 But then again, whats a few missing HP to an alien.:sly:

Thanks. 👍 Actually someone just sent me a free broken in car so I'm all good now. :)

Still lots of time to find in both T1 and T2. T3 is close to perfect.

Ah yea, the old blame it on the phone excuse. You sure its not just operator error.

It is. I didn't proofread before posting. It's damp in my basement and my hands stick to my phone when it's wet. Oh well. :/ how do I delete my last split to update to the correct one

Just re-post the correct splits and Fetchy should update them automatically. 👍

Nice improvements going on there Andrew (doodle) 👍

I'm nearly there I think:

22.213
28.024

Not counting sudden surprising improvements in any sector, I reckon I'm looking for about 0.15 - half a tenth in each sector. Pretty happy with progress so far. :)
