anyone with a decent setup and gear ratios?

You have to use the car from the arcade garage, so it can't be tuned other than the bb, which I set at 4/5.

I still haven't found any seat time for this one. Hopefully I get some time Saturday after doing a 4 corner brake job, and transmission filter/fluid change on the real life car.

Kind of the same for me, I have an hour tonight, work tomorrow morning, an hour or two sat afternoon, then off to Snetterton on sunday for Modified Live, and back home to watch the F1 in the evening

had a new P.B in T1, a 37.01x and a few 37.02x's but then made mistakes in T2, made small gains at most of the corners in T2 on individual laps, now just have to piece it together into 1 lap

My splits seem to be all over the place, but here is were I am at now.

37.833
1'09.019

I will keep working on it.:)

Wow! Just had the perfect Eau Rouge, a better T2, lost a few tenths in T3 but improved at the line... don't think we'll see a better T1 though, dead chuffed with this one!

ok I was mistaken.. just done a 36.9xx t1 twice.. but then my shock caused me to mess up my braking for Les Combes.

So I was wrong for two things, it wasn't a perfect Eau Rouge, and wasn't the best T1 we'll see :P

Have not had the time for this that I wanted but since I have a short week next week I want to make sure I give it a good run. If I can get another....3-5 tenths I'll be satisfied.

Well I managed to get in about 20 laps after wrenching on the car today. Basically learning the track, no splits even worth posting:yuck: Maybe I'll get a couple hours seat time tomorrow. Hoping so anyway.

Just found the same problem as Caine earlier, getting red-clocked for using all of the rumble on Eau rouge. Makes it harder to judge the extremity of the corner correctly :)

yeah, its rather annoying, should just make the rumble smaller so it doesn't deceive people!

another Eau Rouge question:

Tarmac and Red and White Rumbles are Track

is the above pic legal? it is tarmac, its just outside the white lines corresponding to the track edge. It isn't declared illegal for the online race unlike the other corners and exit of Radillion so am unsure. Haven't used it yet, turned too early on one lap and was surprised it didn't 'red' my lap like the apex on the crest does.

Ok, kind of glad it is. Would have been able to post a 36.8xx if it was legal, but the last post would have opened it up for everyone else to use to lower their T1 times too.

Just started on this one. First few decent laps, so here's my initial splits.

37.646
1'08.228

After being stuck for a few days, I went for a different approach (no ghosts) and finally was able to take another 0.350 of my best lap time with these splits :

37.596
1'08.372

First splits:

37.429

37.377
1'08.997

Now if I can just sort out that T2.

Some people have been saying they are having difficulty in T1, so here is a replay of one of my T1's.

I apologise for a couple things now, one that its not on YouTube to watch, but I don't have a video capture device, and there are 3 mistakes in this sector 1) lost a car length on the exit of turn 1 due to too much wheel spin 2) turned into Eau Rouge a bit too soon and couldn't carry as much speed through it 3) forgot to change gear down the straight towards the end :D so dropped about .15 - .2 on my best effort, but I hope it offers some help to those struggling :)

my technique is to have a late apex trough that first little left hander to open op au rouge, then swing the car in making it really easy to hit both apexes. 6th gear should be right under that bridge thing over the track. 37.4 is what I get then. pretty easy to do once you get it right 1 time.
