To whomever it was who asked about gears - I took the default settings and arbitrarily adjusted final drive to the right around 1/3 of the "gap", then dropped speed to minimum and set the gears. As it was arbitrary, I can't fully recall the starting point. You should be able to get close enough by a couple of trial-and-error attempts based on my ridiculously vague instructions! (Also: Custom rims first)

While doing the car pic I didn't realise it was the wrong track that appeared by default.

Thanks Chris. I think it was a result of really hitting turn 1 good. Carried good speed and very little sliding allowed for a good setup into the right hander. I jumped the curb on the left comming out of turn 2 (which usually upsets the car and throws it into the fence on the right) but for some reason the car just drove straight through it with very little upset.

I'm hoping the time will not stay up there very long though. I beat my 2 sector time by well over a full tenth, but to be honest, I was only .007 better at the line. I really blew the final chicane! Hope to fix that and post an even better overall time, but not sure I can duplicate that T1.

I'll try to post a vid of it latter (waiting for youtube upload, and have to get off to work).

Video of my T1 run. Hope this helps you out Chris (GTP-Coupe). The smoother through the first turn, the better. I am using Matt's setup, but I don't know where he had his front camber or toe so I set them at 2 and 0.0 respectively. I was having a hard time figuring out how Kevin thought this combo's "laptime is about 1 minute" untill I finally figured out this is another one of those cars that has to be rum in manual transmission. In automatic it shifts at the redline, and I am shifting it at about 8.

Fun combo! I love the short tracks. Had a quick run right after buying one of these little bread boxes and had a blast. I tried Insatiable's tune but found it a bit unstable for me over the launch ramps rumbles. Tried softening it up and got some better runs through but I've handed it off to Bob for some laps. Will try shifting earlier and see what happens, may need to stretch the trans out some for room in 5th.

For T3 I've been keeping my foot down and basically running well wide of the last couple apexes in favor of speed. Am I doing it wrong here? I feel like I should be able to do both here.

That method I think loses speed, if you go to wide it means you are turning more, which slows down acceleration, depending on your tune you may get away with it but I think you have to modulate power and try and get closer to the last two curbs. (Then again I may be wrong )
