Course you can. I have the black alloys (towards the right) and a TVR-esque chameleon paint job on mine, as well as the coloured carbon bonnet and all the aero bits. Makes it look mean! Doesn't make it go faster though as I've proven.

Eh? I bought new rims but they don't show with dirt tyres on... my car is showing the stock white rally rims, not the ones I chose... ??

Mine too and probably everyone else's.;)

Rally is hard, with a DS3. Anyway here are my first two splits

T1: 26.556
T2: 30.895

Yep.

Found a chunk in T1, lost half of it inT2, but found some more in T3...

23.076
25.637

Really struggling with this at the moment, knew I would have trouble with the tuning version :)

23.014
25.414

Made a stupid mistake in T2, 22.8xx in T1 PB. Really tricky without AWD, nice mix up again Kev 👍

T1: 23.217
T2: 26.051

Just my own slapped together tune. Seems every problem I fix tune wise creates a huge one elsewhere in another corner. lol

EDK
you're looking pretty quick at this for all the moaning you did at the start. ;)

Yah I was stressed out after a couple of hours using the Super Rally car, and the Cleo, not handleing anything like the Mitsu, forced me to be more careful w/ how I aproach the course. Maybe this combo will be what the Dr. orderd to show me the correct approach to the course for the world board.

Great fun as always and your video just reminded me of how angry I got when I found out that Grand Canyon wasn't included in GT5, man I miss that track.

O my, this is something else. :dopey:

First hour shows a lot of lawn mowing and daisy clipping (and fence painting). In the end I came up with a clean lap with some three tenths to spare in T1:

23.731
26.579

Thanks Kevin, for this combo. 👍

So is everything classed as track here?

Yes.

We really don't have the issue with a bunch of run off area like we did the week at Toscana. So in this sense, it's the same as past WRS rally events. All is track, just stay off the walls/invisible barriers.

O.k. 👍

I'll run a couple hours tonight. Think I'll pinch your set-up as they usually suit my style of driving.

After 10 laps. Trying to keep traction is giving me quite a challenge. :)

much improvement to come !

Hi - Please don't make posts that allude to your overall time goal for the event. I've edited that bit out of your post.

Short session, I've completely lost the plot of T2, no clue what I'm doing wrong, can't best 25.2, and I should be able to hit at least 24.9, otherwise I'd be set.

22.628
24.896

Becoming a mystery, nowhere near my best, then plowed through a new best recorded T2 out of nothing, not sure what I'm doing so different.

Hello Mr Dinosaw - your splits don't seem to be showing up on the leaderboard. Have you done the qualifier, and if so, did you register under a different username maybe?

Going well anyway 👍

You are the man Dom, instant improvement after using the above. Seeing 22.5xx in T1 now, T3 is not too bad, but really having a hard time of T2 at the moment. Some small adjustments below:

Aero 20
-25/40
5.0/6.8
5/5
4/4
1/2

2.0/0.8
0.0/+0.3

8/10/5
Ballast 0
240kph (Standard Gears)
BB 4/10

22.767
25.031

Update:-

22.823
25.585

I'm still improving little by little.:) I made a couple of errors in T2 and one in T3 so there is more time there for me so I'll keep on trying, just not today. I've had enough of the bumps for one day.:P

Ye Gods! Get thee behind me Peter! :P Great splits mate - you are a rally fiend 👍

Dom - you are burning a hole in the leaderboard this week mate; great job. I'm not done yet though... :sly: Decided to try your raised ride-height again with a slight suspension tweak.

25/40
6.1/6.3
4/4
3/3
2/2

2.0/0.7
0.00/0.00

LSD 7/10/7

Turning in is slower so more aggression required on the steering inputs but traction seems alot better 👍

22.741
24.759

Lost 0.25 from my best 3rd sector but still up on the lap. Now looking for that with a better run to the line... Dipped into the 22.6s in sector 1 now but hard to hold that with a good 2nd sector. Many thanks for the ride height suggestion Dom - I don't think its a faster setup than my first one but it is easier to be consistent.

Nice splits Chris. 👍
Probably not to much to worry from me anymore this week, at least for me this one's about cooked, I think 3-4 tenths would be "perfect" for me, so I'll probably give it another go tonight and submit.

A lot of fun this one though, I'll have to tinker and try lowering her down a bit and see where that gets me.

22.767
25.031
Nice spits Sid, are you going D1 on us? 👍

Thanks Dom. Don't be giving up yet - you're having a great week 👍 I'm playing with quite a few different ride height setups currently. Can't make my mind up... got a bit lost with feeling the difference so switched back to my original setup for a run.

22.812
24.652

My setup is much faster through the esses but difficult in Sector 1:

22.896
24.493
