I did the same, BB 5/1, ABS 0.

Light touch with the pedal with occasional lockup works out OK. :)

Not sure how that's going to work out online. :scared:

Front tire wear is troublesome online, but rear tires could go 30 laps. I'm guessing that setting BB to 5/1 would make the front tire wear worse? But maybe not if it makes you loose and removes some of the "push". A good experiment to test for sure.

I had a short go last night and my ghost eluded me. I may have a few minutes just before deadline to try a buzzer beater. I improved my T1 consistently and can hold my own in T2, but T3 has become a disaster after a 3 day break from this combo.

After another 60 lap session I still failed to improve my time. My best clean lap this session was over 2 tenths slower than my best lap (Despite being a tenth faster in sector one, which is where I went off on my best lap).

So i'm not going to submit as I know there is still 3 tenths in it and i've simply run out of time (If I get under D1 par again it jeopardies any chances on promotion to D1 Silver). This is certainly the most difficult WRS i've attempted so far. Good luck to all those with submitted times 👍

Just checked my replay and I put 3 wheels on the dirt on one of the corners :ouch:. I will give it another run tonight, but it will be difficult to beat my time (un-certified time has quicker splits then posted also). As a last ditch effort to beat my time, what B/B promotes the most turn in under braking, is it 0/10, 10/0 or another combination? Cheers.

I found rear bias made the car push wide while trying to brake and turn at the same time.

Front bias allowed me to do that, and even if I was imagining it, ABS 0 seemed to change the handing characteristics, to some degree.

You didn't try last week :crazy:

Edit: still using 2/10 abs1

My oh my, seven D3 drivers line astern on the splits board covered by less than quarter of a second, could this be the most critical T3 yet?
Hmm, maybe I should have dedicated a little more time, but just spent too much time in the grocery shop rather than driving to and from it!! Damm genius marketing people with there buy one get one free offers!!

Haha you're right... D3 is too close to call. I can't seem to get T3 together... find this car understeering too much through the esses for a competitive lap time.

My final splits...
21.357
36.857

Submitted with these splits. Slower than previous, but better T3. I have run out of time to string 3 good sectors together.

21.385
36.859

Good luck all last-minute racers 👍

Submitted with splits:

21.204
36.703

I'm playing the vertically in line - card:
  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times

I did try last week, but my fast lap was dirty so I didn't submit. My nearest clean lap was 2 seconds away. There is a trend appearing here

D1 par is always so high it deterrs me from submitting good laps that perhaps aren't my very best, as I see I get ranked down. I know I can't be demoted, but any possible promotions are getting further and further away, so it's actually in my interest to not submit because if I improve in the future i'll have a very long way to go for a promotion. I'm not trying to get promoted straight away, but I want to maintain my handicap/rating as it has already reduced by 0.05 and i've only competed in 2 events. Once I get up to speed I should be competing weekly 👍

Got a little time over lunch and got these splits... not as good as they look because I lost some in T3, but a bit of an improvement anyway.

T1: 21.394
T2: 36.941

I've got one more 30 minute session I might be able to squeeze in just before deadline, but I'm submitting with these splits for now.

Improved 20 mins before deadline with new BB, borderline dirty though, had to use that time as my only other time saved was my fastest lap but that was also ever so slightly dirty, will wait and see.
BB change (from a friends advice) seemed to help a fair bit my improved time was 0.014 faster even with mid .1 T1 and losing .125 in last corner, i feel with another session i would have been in the 57.5s T2 as i finally breaked through to low .5s in T2, did 5 times within .06 of my submitted time in 30 mins or so, so if it turns out to be dirty ill be disapointed... enjoyed it on the whole anyway.

YOUR JOKING! i just came out of writing this and i got message from fetchbot saying rejected? i did it how it said? let me guess it won't count now, even know i clearly sumbitted in time. grr

You still have 50min. Get crackin'. If it rejected it, make sure the wording and format are exactly as the OP says.

Tim, 👍 ALL YOUR PODIUM GROCERIES ARE BELONG TO US!

Deadline is not for another 51 minutes.

You submitted the right way the second time, but you added 2 ?'s to the end of the post.

Just submit in the same format without those and you will be fine. 👍

T1: 21.200
T2: 36.450

I've got about another tenth in me realistically, although I could probably get 2 tenths on a perfect lap, this has proven to be a bit of a challenge!

Didn´t have the time for another run so submitting with splits on board.
Expect to loose a couple places as T3 is far from my best :ouch:

Good luck to all

How about if we change the rules this week and take the average time of our top 10 clean laps. Bet I'd be on the podium in that case. Unfortunately I never found the single magic lap. My purple sectors put all together would be about 0.3 faster than my submitted time and I have 9 clean laps within 0.1 of my submitted lap.

That consistency should be good for the online race next Wednesday, but I'm guessing the WRS podium requires a bit more magic than I could muster.

Good luck to everyone. I'm ready for some Cruisin'. 👍

T1-21.172
T2-36.491

Savage T2 for me my only .4, T1 poor, safe T3 to bring it home and make sure i had a clean quick lap, ended up improving by 0.06

Submitted with these

T1 21.226
T2 36.511

Disappointed with T1, was running 0.150 through there. There's always a sector that's costly to me, but happy enough to say I don't like FF cars

Plato and Markyboy with splits at the same time, running to the deadline! I beat my time by a thousandth but didn't bother saving my replay as I couldn't be bothered to check whether it was clean or not. I will shoot myself if someone gets a position ahead of me with a matter of a thousandth... :dunce:

Also, I have the same problem Plato, in that session there I only ran a handful of .1's, and I have only ran a high .0 once. I have hit .3's in T2 though which were pretty beast and left about another tenth in the last sector, the results will be interesting.

a .3 T2 wow spud, amazed, never came close to threatning that kinda time, be intrested to see what i was doing wrong, just out of intrest did anybody see a .9 T1?
Should be close

I had a .3 as well, just couldn't match you're T2s and T1 was awful
