Edit: btcannon the praiano tune i'm using (link in my first post) is running 35/65 split and is working very well for me with no wheel spin. I am also using a controller.

Praiano's tune is good for a stable car, but if you want the most speed round here I feel the car needs to be a lot looser. If you add more negative rear toe and reverse the ride height/spring rate as a starting point, the car turns a lot easier That kind of setup put me at .5 away from the quickest time.

Also.. happy 9th birthday to the WRS, here's to another 9 years of frustration and desperation while we try to get the most out of our cars

Some of those sectors are pointless. I could have gone up to #12, but I wanted to stick with the 9 theme. Plus, I wasn't sure if fetchy would support that many.

Tried to photo the flames again. Found that they are hiding in the boot of the car with a little peeking through the top. Slowing the shutter speed gives a vague flame discolouration in the right spot but not clear.

If you were wondering what difference full aero makes over stock aero (which is well down on full values by default) I did my first clean lap with it a full 17 seconds faster, so yeah - bit of a pointless session earlier.

WHAT a car this thing is - with full aero it just sings like Pavarotti and dances like Fred Astaire - not surprised the fans put all those tents up to watch it fly past, superb!

Got these splits on my 3rd lap - the GP track sections were dreadful. It got a lot better on the Nordschleife with a few mistakes here and there which cost several tenths each time.

I also drifted entry to the penultimate S bends, after the long straight - I caught the grass and thought the lap was over and in the armco, but I somehow drifted into both parts of the S and got out without leaving the track....

I've never driven the Nordschleife with a steering wheel, so this is a first. I've gotta say it's probably the most satisfying thing, it's just plain difficult with the DS3, so very narrow and so much precision required to navigate the twists and bumps - this is something else.

Shame I can't hold more laps together, but hey, that's the brutal nature of this track....

What a combo! It will be bad for the ego this week getting destroyed by ring rats, and not being able to blame either the car or the tires for problems...

I love this car. I chose this one for my first 4-hr Enduro run, which sadly wasn't recently. The looks! The fire-spitting! The noise! The go-where-you-want-ness (I think they call that handling or something)!

First actual lap (literally. Only had time for a single run before bed after getting set up, tune was left over from Enduro &/ online use, but I've got two others to try). Couldn't believe I managed it cleanly without offs, and had to check I didn't have R3s on. Not going to be near fast, and I think there's gearing problems, but:

I think this car was in GT3 and 4 altho I havent really driven it since GT3. Thats the one great thing about this race series I get alot of use out of so many cars in the game I never would.

I know how awesome this class of car is to drive around this track...quite a pleasure cruise. Will definitly be trying this one!

Oh hell! Green hell infact!

This is one lovely combo! Car is smooth, the raving tyres make a big difference in grip and it's relatively easy to control. But put it on the 'ring, oh dear.... Any and all of my abilities go flying out the window!!

I don't mind the GP part of the track... It's other 13 miles that kill me!

Took me 300miles to get a lap worth posting. Almost lost it at the end, but some kind soul had installed cobbles on the side of the tarmac, right where I ended up. 👍 Loving this!

My advice is to try the car with reduced power to get used to the tricky parts, and then crank it up. Try 80% power, make sure you can get clean laps, then turn it up. I used to do that on GT4 when learning this track.

Second thing. I messed up on the boundary rules in the first post, as I stole them from week 14 that was the old track only. I've added the below to the first post. Sorry if anyone was exploiting the loophole, but you should have known better anyhow.

• Rumble Strips and Cobbles outside of rumble strips in the Nordschleiffe section are all track.
  
• Over Run Tarmac Beyond Rumble Strips, White Track Boundary Lines, or Cones in the GP section is not track (See Details in Pictures Below)
  

Green Painted Tarmac or Black Tarmac Beyond the White line on the outside of Turn 1 (Trackside Left)

Gray Mesh Surface Beyond the White Line at the outside of Turn 2 (Trackside Right)
