If you were wondering what difference full aero makes over stock aero (which is well down on full values by default) I did my first clean lap with it a full 17 seconds faster, so yeah - bit of a pointless session earlier.
WHAT a car this thing is - with full aero it just sings like Pavarotti and dances like Fred Astaire - not surprised the fans put all those tents up to watch it fly past, superb!
Got these splits on my 3rd lap - the GP track sections were dreadful. It got a lot better on the Nordschleife with a few mistakes here and there which cost several tenths each time.
I also drifted entry to the penultimate S bends, after the long straight - I caught the grass and thought the lap was over and in the armco, but I somehow drifted into both parts of the S and got out without leaving the track....
I've never driven the Nordschleife with a steering wheel, so this is a first. I've gotta say it's probably the most satisfying thing, it's just plain difficult with the DS3, so very narrow and so much precision required to navigate the twists and bumps - this is something else.
Shame I can't hold more laps together, but hey, that's the brutal nature of this track....
