So you went from standing right on Baron's achilles to standing on his toes? That's precision driving

If I can get within a tenth of you two I'll be happy, but for some reason it's proving very difficult indeed to put many good laps together of the road course - really having massive issues with turn 1 & 2 as a combination and turn 3 - the rest of the track is fine but I'm often 3 tenths shy by the time I get there

Not sure if I can get any more than my .426 on the oval but I'll give it another few tries

Been away for a few days and it's not too busy in here compared to previous weeks! I expected to be farther down the board than 2nd by now tbh... Wicked splits from TL forced me to run some more and got an update at the road course, lost my nerve at the end of the lap and wasted a good .150 roughly comparing to saves with slower T2 and great end section bah

I did a few laps around the Speedway yesterday and couldn't beat my earlyer test lap.
So moved on to Road Course just to get caught shortcutting at the last concrete corner..

Current times:

54.169 in theory a .05x or lower could be possible
24.077 saw few .8's and many .9's , just couldn't put a clean lap together.

Yes, except that the PM system can't handle attachments, if I remember correctly, so you have to resort to email or a content-sharing site, like dropbox.com. 👍

It's a great way to learn from people who are faster than you, but in this case I'm guessing you're the faster guy.

I think I'll be content with being within 1.5 seconds of the top split and as it stands right now, I'm not far from it. That puts me around the pace I was at in GT5P before I got the wheel. I suspect everyone has gotten faster so that would mean I'm above my DS3 speeds.

I'd be more worried about Tuesdaymops, since he clearly had some idea what he had to do at the Oval, and is rapidly fixing his Road lap

I have no idea why I can't actually manage 4 decently executed corners in a row.... I would probably be happy with another tenth, there, and would gladly be shot of it.

Cleaned up the road a bit with a solid lap (there's a bit left there, but it doesn't bug me as much as the oval ). It is way more enjoyable, though.

Changed SEN to 800 and I can suddenly do well under 19 secs in the first sector on the oval....best lap is not..... unfortunately I've lost the ability to do the last two turns now

Hoping the same thing helps on the road course - starting to clutch at straws as I seek extra pace

If I can get somewhere near to 1:18.500 I'll be happy.

Just trying to catch you I know how good you have gotten and I think you did the road course before. My moneys on everyone but me to podium this week no matter what the splits board says.

What podium are you talking about? Overall or D2?

Really respect your commitement through out the week

And you always start slow and improve a lot til the end. My problem now is that after one or two sessions i'm close to my best and is very difficult to improve

I was hopeing to live off my laurels but I'm being tailgated I think there is more I can do w/ the oval since that is where my blood boilz and it's my chance to show some real world experience. it's like living "Groundhog Day"

I thought I gained about. 25 on the oval only to find out that the last sharp right in t4 is dirty by a fuzz. Now I can't get close to that time. Think I might be done

Little just made me so mad I think I'm going to take it out on the road course

New oval time: I set abs off and BB at 1/1. Seemed to just give that little later braking than just coasting in to the turns and helped rotate the car for over two tenths gain on my previous best .

I gave up and submitted. Splits wont match on the road course, had a faster lap with slower t1 and t2, plus a death in the family, just never got around to posting.

I wasnt very good with this week anyhow.

But my wonderful wife let me order my wheel yesterday, so as soon as I get it and figure it out, maybe I will speed up!

I just run a 54.085 on the oval and upon inspection it dips under the white line marginally at turn 2 sods law as it's nowhere near the walls!... will chase it for a while i suppose and hopefully clean it up with a similar time
