Hope to get a chance to try this tonight, What are you guys running for a B/B?

Allibubba99I must admit, I feel like I have to get out and push it up the last hill but man is it fun! I have had a lap 4/10th's faster than this submission but I was at least an inch onto the grass with my front tire! DOH! Oh well that lap is still out there, I will have to go and find it again. I used B/B 1/10 ABS 1 for these splits.

I'd post it anyway, I like to use my fastest splits as motivation regardless of whether they are dirty
I only do it if I feel I can reproduce it do it which I often always do, if I run tiny bit wide and running wide did not have an effect on the split being faster, if I outright cut a chicane on the other hand gaining a very obvious advantage I don't do it. It's just self motivation, and it's usually in the beginning of the week
I won't post anymore if it makes people mad
To shift or not to shift. And when? Those are the questions.
I'd say shift around 6k or so...?
This is from GT Mode, from a car I bought (for $15k!), and removed those ugly wheel covers. Only mod was an oil change. FOR REFERENCE ONLY.
mike_gt3Lucas, i kept it in 3rd gear the entire lap if that can be useful. It will carry more speed through corners and it has the torque, you will save the gear shift time from 2nd to 3rd as well.
NINE_HUNDREDI kept in 3rd the whole way for my splits as well. It's actually the first event where I thought I should probably change to manual
Going to try different BB settings later, still had mine on 5/5.
You've been doing automatic all this time? How do you survive with that?

ConRollinsI dont think anyone would get mad. No one would know that is was a dirty lap being posted. The rub would be when you were the fastest guy on the leaderboard, and then didn't submit because the lap was dirty or submitted something with entirely different splits. You can only use the line that you ran a last minute lap and didn't have time to post the splits so many times before people start to wonder.
Yes, that's still considered clean. There have to be at least two tires on the track (rumble strips included).First splits.

Also. I have a question about clean laps. Just to clarify, if you have the two right side tires in the grass but the left sides are clearly on the rumble strips, then its still considered clean, right? I usually don't run it that close but I think that that is part of my problem, I'm trying to be too conservative and not using all the track. Thanks for the help, off to do some more laps.
