OK, I had time to dust off my promotion sheet tonight and get some drivers some well deserved promotions.
Starting in D3, lots of guys starting to rise to the top, in a very competitive division. 👍
The following have been promoted to D3 Gold, with very strong recent performances and great battles for podium spots each week -

In D2 -
Finally, the following have been promoted from D2 Gold to D1 Bronze -

- GTP_Nuclearfire (Is this guy on the podium every week?)
- GTP_Sureshot (See above
) - GTP_Darkneo (Well done with podiums in weeks 39 and 40 👍)
- GTP_JunkYardSpec (Moved straight from bronze to gold, with back to back wins
)
Also in D3 -
- GTP_Vipond has been moved from D3 Bronze to D3 Silver, with a strong return performance in week 44
In D2 -
- GTP_Paulie has been moved from D2 Silver to D2 Gold, with some strong recent performances, including 2nd overall in week 41.
Finally, the following have been promoted from D2 Gold to D1 Bronze -
- GTP_CarlPKY - Overall Wins in 2 of the last 4 weeks.
- GTP_Synwraith - Fantastic performance in Event 03, along with a very strong 2nd overall in week 44 of WRS.

Thanks so much for the promotion. I'd be lying if I said earning a D1 placement hasn't been a goal of mine, and I'm really elated to have finally earned a spot there
Thanks to everyone for the kind words, and thanks also to the many other drivers who have helped me improve these past few months: GTP_drama-kyd, EL_ZISSOU, LinPark, Timeattack, GTP_CWR and others who had the patience to wait on me time after time during races when I first got my wheel. Thanks so much guys, you have all really helped me improve at this game 👍 And thanks also to the many great drivers in this community, such as GTP_DHolland, Timppaq, MAY, Madison, Hyperspeed and others. Watching your replays has been a great learning experience and really taught me a lot about what it takes to put a good lap together 👍
And BIG congratulations to all the other promotees well-done guys 👍 GTP_Nuclearfire--great job, and well-earned. Great job as well to GTP_Sureshot (Nigel) 👍

Massive thanks to Kevin, Sjaak and Vaxen for the recognition and tireless work you do in keeping track of promotions and relative performance, alongside the organisation of superb events like GTP Event 03 where I've had the opportunity to improve alongside the proven training ground of WRS. Also many kind thanks to all the guys for your congratulations.
Carl, fantastic and well-deserved promotion that we all saw coming. You've done nothing but improve since you received your first wheel and have been a credit to the racing and WRS community. I somehow doubt you'll be stopping at D1 bronze, so I offer thoroughly genuine congratulations on achieving your goal in such exquisite style with commanding victories 👍
I agree with Kevin that Nuclearfire is always on the podium, so your promotion along with Kagamushi, Sureboss and Vipond's are as always hard-earned and well-deserved. StrokerAce's superb back to back wins are evidence enough of his deserved elevation. Paulie has been exhibiting D2 gold pace for a good while now and will undoubtedly improve further.
Can I also thank the guys who have raced with me and helped me to become more than a sorry Sixaxis-to-wheel convert who couldn't even manage to complete a decent lap of High Speed Ring or a 5 lap race of Suzuka without being lapped in those first few months. Jukka, all of T&L, HyperDanAudiKermitSpeed, Warren, Jon, Kai, Timo, Jack, Kevin, Phil, FAK, Zabeu, Matt, Chris, Ron, JP, Ian, Madison, ...for replays, for waiting, for being good mates and genuinely giving a damn about someone else improving.
Carl, thanks for all your ongoing encouragement throught the last few months, having someone else to directly compare myself to and bounce ideas and techniques off has been a massive help. As for me being a sandbagger, I have always been 100% as slow as I looked
