For all the new WRS drivers, there are two different events for the suzuka weather / rain event and you can take part in both. Being on the official GTP_Registry you can take part right away in the offline time trials. For the online event you need to register your PSN one time in the driver database, send a friend request to our dedicated lounges (GTP_3D3Racing, etc.) and then you register for each individual event in one or both of our time slots. You can see the details and specific instructions in GT5 Week 22 Online: Rain Dance. We also offer official practice times on Monday and Tuesday and once you are on the lounge friends list you are free to use that lounge for ad hoc group practice any time.

Four new guys faster than my handicap :D

Welcome to all 19!!!
Hope to see you soon on board 👍

Well that was quick, was expecting to have to wait a few more week's before I got entered.

Happy with my Div. 3 Silver as well 👍

Hello, I'm new to GT5's WRS, but I have briefly raced back in the GT5Prologue days. Looking to get my feet "wet" soon, and the event this week looks very appropriate. Thank you and looking forward to competing with some very talented drivers.

WOW!!! Guess it just goes to prove: There is a fine line between good driving, and driving way over your head! Never thought in a million years I would be ranked up that high. Div 2 Silver! WOW!

I felt the exact same way. When I submitted my qualifier back in December, I was trying to guess where I would end up. Looking through the divisions, I saw some guys in D2 silver and bronze that I knew who are far better than me, at least when it comes to online racing. I thought I would come in at D3 gold or silver, maybe D2 bronze if I got extremely lucky. I was shocked to see that I wound up in D2 silver, ahead of some of those guys that smoke me in online races. I probably spent a little too much time on the qualifier compared to how much time I would spend on the weekly events, and unfortunately I joined at the worst time when I basically have no time to participate.

Anyway, good with the qualifier and good luck 👍

Thanks Diabolical. I know how you feel when I look at the guys in my division and those above and below me. While I agree there needs to be a qualifier to set ranking, I also know that after time the rankings will sort themselves out.

I know I can pretty much hold my own when it comes to spec racing, when everyone has the same car and the same setup. Throw in the ability to tune the car and then I know I have it cut out for me. The good tuners gravitate to the top and the non tuners like me slowly sink to the, well lets just leave it to slowly sinking.

It's gonna be a fun ride either way.

Shouldn't be an issue here as most people share their set-ups. Check out the latest event and you'll see what I mean
