Practice room open: 1472-4711-0167-3383-8244

I'll only be around till about 19:30gmt

Lobby closed. Good practice everyone! The sound issues are annoying though. First we got problems with the engine sound, then the tire sound started to give troubles...

Was pitstops needed for this race?
Yes 3 strategy's
1 stopper(needs lot of tyre and fuel management) by madmax
3 stopper(you can smoke your tyre in each corner and not be worried of the fuel and tyres ,just keep on doing qualifying laps after quali laps) by hasslemoff
2 stopper(you can get steady pace) everyone else for WW race
It is really easy to undercut a car if you fighting for track position

Room is up!
1472-6118-3916-1741-0220

For now there's only 1 room. If it fills up and we have 18 or more who want to race. We'll start a second room.

Race report 35

I'll be on for the NA race! get the hype! First time for me in the NA time slot, and I'll come in with 0 miles done on the combo, so expect me to be slow at first, and get up to speed towards the end of the race:D

Dude, this track...:irked:
this, Brands Hatch and Big Willow... awfull.

However, nice battle at the end there Ruz👍

et_
Too bad I didn't get you (still irritates me a bit)

Our staying out til lap 30 let Ruz get in front of us Elias. Had we pitted on 29 like he did, we would have had to make the mistake for him to get by. Oh well, that was a good win by @vipond, and nice podiums by @et_ and @Iceman220. For me it was one of the better races I have run with WRS, no mistakes and consistent lap after lap. Just missed the podium.

Terrible race for me. While practising I still had sound but for the quality I lost all sound and also no ffb. The quali still went OK but the race was horrible. On lap 2 I had a big sideway and on lap 4 or 5 I couldn't miss @Nail-27 and hit him fully in his flank. On that moment I opted for a 1 stopper. I made it but was long on the last spot but could overtake @Thematic and @couttsy21 who ran out off gas. Unfortunate I just missed the time limit.:banghead:
Next time I have no sound I will quit the race.
Don't like that at all.:irked::irked::irked:

Its difficult to avoid crash if someone spins ahead of you
I had crash in both race ww and eu where engine got damaged and lost time

I had no technical problems so ran only EU. But made a couple of idiot moves. For example spinning out in turn 1 because apparently going over the stone surface becomes suicide if you have slightly higher speed than usual.

I got that aswell, no engine sound or tyre noise in quali or the race but only from my car. Was so weird when I was on my own I could hear the crowd cheering as I went down the front straight! Missed a good few gear changes aswell by not realising I hit the limiter, wasn't used to not hearing the engine sound at all. There were times when I was behind another car and they changed down for the upcoming corner and I thought it was me hitting the limiter so quickly changed up which meant I then lost some speed. Was so weird and felt very lonley when no cars were around!
I didn't realise how much the sounds helped untill they were gone! As for the race I put in a decent quali lap but then suffered from the usual inconsistency and struggling to adapt to worn tyres. Then I made a silly mistake on the final pit and didn't put in enough fuel :dunce: So ended up running out completely on lap 42 I think it was. Apart from that was a really fun race although I hope next time I will have sounds!

Well the worth of running all three races was proven last night. I still finished as last runner but that was due to getting crazy on lap one and hooking my wheel in the top groove in the last turn , instead of riding it out, i pulled it out and spun and my "race" was over, but as Lucas said, my pace was similar to his at the end of the race. Some of this was due to newer tyres but some was due to going to school on other drivers. This is not a normal track...it has "tricks".

...I also has audio problems...time for PD TO GET THEIR SIERRA TOGETHER.

The great thing about this League is that you get to race and know your fellow drivers...unlike other Leagues where you compete in as many as six races a night which become a blur, here the races are memorable and regardless of where you finish each one stands alone.

Due to my age and middle of the road ability ( which I knew in SCCA and English racing because I was almost always mid pack ...but with the occasional brilliant drive which kept hope alive...) I will never win a race unless you all have a massive shunt....the reason I race is because it is fun and I still get a RUSH out of it.
