I will try to make at least 1, Saturday 4th looks best option at the moment for me even though its 5am starts here in Gold Coast. We are not in full lockdown and as I work in essential industry/service work obviously takes priority.
These events are really enjoyable, just like the one from GT6 with the 3 cars and different tracks that GTP_Dutchy organized. Correct me if I got the organizer wrong.

Yes, it is similar to what he organized. The big difference here is how quick the races are, and the dynamic nature of track selection.

You have no idea which track is coming next, and you have to pick a car you have not used yet when we get to it.

I will put you down for the 4/4 race. I assume that ~11 am local on a Thursday would not be good for you? We are running the warmup race on Thursday evening, which would obviously be Friday morning at 11 for you.

Unfortunately I am rostered on Friday otherwise I would be there.

Would love to take part in practice but my evening meds start to kick in around 9 - 9:30
A 7 - 7:30 start time during the week is usually the latest I can start. Friday and Saturday night being the exceptions because I can move my med time. Don't have to get up the following day for work.

I will use public lobbies so that not everyone needs to be on my friends list. The lobby will open at least 30 mins prior to the event start.

I will post the lobby number here in the thread once it's live.

So my wheel just decides to do the not gear up or gear up twice scenario I am currently trying to fix the piece of crap! and if it keeps doing it I will have no option but to order G29 number 3... I already had a previous G29 with similar problems! These things are stupidly unreliable guys don't waste your money on them



I know there's better wheels out there but I don't want to spend £500 on a wheel.. £200 is more than enough for my budget and my wifes reaction to a £500 wheel would be priceless

I did that fix on my Logitech DFP, it involved re-soldering the connecting wires for the paddles.

No this needs the gear plate reshaping as i smack it too hard when gearing up and also the rubber pad is missing on the button between the paddle and the plastic connector which is making it stick.. here's some pics of the left and right gear buttons to show the issue! It looks minute but causes such a ball ache whilst racing

Dude that sucks I'm on my 2nd G29 too, luckily the first one was just within warranty, but i can already feel the upshifts starting to lag a little on occasion. Had issues with sticking brakes too hope you get yours sorted soon and relatively easily 👍

waiting for the wife to bring some glue back from work with her to fix the rubber part and hopefully back up and running asap! but if it's gubbed will order new wheel tomorrow as I have to make this race on Saturday 👍

Yes. I've added you for now.

Even if you can only make part of it, I would prefer you attend so we know everything works with connection, you know how qualifying works, etc.

Just better to learn these things early than to find out with 12-16 racers in the room for a live event.

Sorry guys I thought I had my issue solved taking my wheel apart last night.. even bettered my best wrs lap quite quickly but now the wheel is just back to doing the same gear up twice crap and wrecking every lap I race 👎 best take me off the list for Saturday @EDK I just ordered a new wheel and the earliest possible delivery window is SAT 28th between 7pm and 10pm GMT which is taking me out of the event unfortunately.. I will try and make the Sunday events if the wheel comes as planned 👍
