I'm starting to have a good feeling about my ride, figuring out the tiny details, on at a time, still some tenths to cut. But getting closer to my limit with the motion control. More to come tomorrow.

PS: so, which turn is the Larini? :D I guess the one before T2 split. ^^

Thanks. I am not use to this. Perhaps opening posts should specify power figures both in DIN and in SAE then.
The game doesn't make it clear to the user either.

Never say never, ^^
There were times in the past i used to say this to me, yet then all of a sudden, as deadline approached i found some more time to cut, sometimes it was a "wow factor" of time i shaved down. :D just, never give up. ^^
How many laps does everyone normally do. Im still trying to get through all the content, plus do sport races to get closer to the platinum.
Compared to my optimal lap, it was 1 tenth down in S1, 1 tenth down in S2 and 2 tenth up in S3. Getting a single sector right wasn't a massive issue, it was being able to nail all 3 in a single lap with no wall touches and 2 wheels on track at all times. Everytime I got 2 sectors right I would screw up the chicance.

I usually have time for 10 laps a day if I’m lucky.

I’m having the same issues as you and getting a good quick clean lap. Really easy to overdrive this one. With it being a longer lap overall, it is harder for me to be consistent.

GTSport is still taking me some time to figure out the braking part of my game. I can usually get within .200-.300 on all of my laps, not with this one. I even updated my stock T300 pedals to the T3PA’s just recently.

It really depends on the person. Some people run 20 laps and call it a day, some people spend 20 hours on one time trial.

GTS is cruel by showing you the best sector times. It’s rare to string all personal best sectors together. I typically run a combo until I get within 0.3 of my personal best sectors combined (0.15 on very short tracks).

As many 12-20 lap stints as I can squeeze into a week.

It takes me a few laps to warm up and then I can only maintain the right focus for a dozen laps +/- before I start screwing up lap after lap and need a break.

So it seems similar for most people to do 15-20 ish laps in session, some more, some less. I reckon ive done 40 laps in total. 25 first day then 15 second.

Me personally doing few laps a session, close to my top time, or the top time, then my ghost starts to be faster than me and i end up the session, Sometimes I do one session a day, sometimes 4-5 per day. Each session can be 5-25 laps. It really varries on circumstances. Here in GTS i use to make breaks for the FIA races, not a problem, sometimes it helps you to focus on something else for a moment and as I said, when you come back to the combo, you can run the top time. Many guys struggle with times during the week, just to find tenths of a second on last day, on so-called kamikaze run - really close to deadline. :D

Last go for the night.

Don't have the replay 'cuz the game crashed after a 12 lap session. :dopey: But I'll go faster, "fer sure!".
