Removing these for now, as I find it highly unlikely that you are 1.0 faster than @Mr P with correct settings.

You can of course re-post if you find them to be legitimate.

Thanks for the ego boost Kev but unfortunately I am not the best person to make a comparison with at this track... as the TT event will show I'm 1.5 secs behind the legit clean front runners.. Thanks again mate but this isn't a track I normally shine at 👍

It's mainly the T1 and that nobody is within anything close to shouting distance of it.

I had already posted about it this morning, and he's not signed on. I just don't like leaving a funky board if it's indeed an error. And if it's not, he can just post his splits again.

I've done it before with other folks, no time to go look now and see who/when. Not suggesting he's intentionally cheated or anything, just that there might be an error of some sort.

Yeah my best T1 so far has been a .160 and can't see much more myself.. I reckon he has RS tyres from an online TT still on the car by error maybe 👍 but he is rapid fast racer no doubt about it :cheers:

I haven't done any proper laps, but i did a few sector 1 attempts on repeat out of interest ( still not sure if i will have time this weekend to enter properly or not ) and the absolute best i had was a .1xx and i really really dont think there is much else to be gained. Although i am fully prepared to be embarrassed if Javi posts a video with a great shifting strategy or something.

Considering it's basically one corner that has braking and 7 tenths faster than anyone else, I also need to ask - Is it correct?

I know you are fast, @Jfrod , but this seems a little crazy, unless you have come up with some sort of shifting trick, or something through Eau Rouge that nobody else is trying.

Are you in the 2011 R18 (not the 2016), and are your settings stock?

I think im right with the car and the settings

I edited your splits back into the post, will see if Fetchy picks them up from here.

I deleted from the board, assuming there may have been a typo or something with car settings going on.

Right now, you are 0.5 better than anyone has managed at T1, so I assumed there must have been an error.

You are fast, we all know that.

It just seems like a very wide gap for a relatively straightforward first sector.
 
I think the most likely thing is probably non default aero or suspension, or power/weight.

If i where you @Jfrod i would run through your settings and just select 'set to default' or whatever it is and then run some laps again. And check the power/weight are both set to 100.

Nobody is doubtful of your driving, but 0.5 in T1 alone is very unusual. And i can't quite see that its possible. Like i said, very happy to be proved wrong though, a video would help too probably.

You are right mate. The car was under tunning. My nephew put power in 108%. Sorry guys. @EDK put me out from leaderboard. I Will start again but with the right power and all set as default. Im really sorry

Thanks. I deleted your splits, but then had put you back on when you posted last night saying you thought everything was right.

Easily done, i always give a quick check through, especially with the new time trial modes that allow setup changes - its just waiting to happen :lol: Nice new splits though.

Man i love this track! So good to have it back.
Racked up the miles in the R18 today - and throughly enjoyed myself :crazy:

Saw quite a few 0.xx first sectors, but the middle sector was my clear best by a good tenth, had a few .4's but the 3 came out of nowhere.

BB-0 all the way through and short shifting a lot!

I never check it because i never go there. I dont like and i dont know how to tune the cars and im the only one who plays in Ps4. But this time i had a visit.... and i let them play :D

Did 20 more laps and only yielded a dirty lap barely 2 tenths faster than my previous best, but optimal was showing 3 more tenths beyond that. Before shutting down I decided to do one more quick run and beat the optimal by a tenth on the first lap! :D
