How to win this week:

Step 1: Drive like this:

(credits to Speedy6543)

Step 2: ???

Step 3: Profit.

So far I'm stuck at step 1...

Step 1 sends you into the walls if you try to follow those lines in GT6...
You need the high-way. That's the die-way ;) It's by far not that friendly if you try to use that much curbs as well.

26.383
44.933

Definitely time to be found in the second and third sector.

EDIT: Can I get a small trophy or a certificate for being the first into 26.3's?

In addition to a huge effort yesterday by @GTP_Dutchy and @PASM on getting the Triple Mix Championship going, Kevin also whipped out the following gif for this event, intended to be the car image on the leaderboard. Sadly, with the GT6 leaderboard revamp, using gif's there is not possible anymore. So I put it in the OP instead.

You get my respect, I can't even imagine how to do that :scared::lol:
Respect from a D1 Gold? Get outta here!

That is pretty cool! Kudos! 👍

Quick 30 mins the next free day I get I'll be at this for as long as I can. 5/5 BB good was thinking 4/5 before I had to leave it

26.787
45.520

seen faster splits, on this lap I think I stated to figured out the final corner managed to stay over 203 kph shifting to 6th before exiting

Amazing combo guys  Think this will be one of my favourites

I have had some mid 26.4 T1s. I go all the way down to the apex of turn 1 and try not to drop bellow 276km/h. Then I stay to the outside in turn 2 (downshift to 5th but upshift back before the exit).

J_Starscream - did you try submitting your lap to make sure you have the right settings? I don't want to make it sound like I don't believe you. I actually hope to have another D2 guy taking the overall win :D
If you finished with let's say 1.000 handicap it would move you up to about 1.87 so middle of D1B (this doesn't include a bump in handicap from the Daytona where you also did well).
Basically you are getting kicked out of D2 one way or the other :)

Submitted and accepted. :D

Nah, I'll probably get thumped in the last sector by @Mr P and @mcsqueegy

I've no idea how to do a 26.3 my best after way too many laps was a 26.454 and seems I cant get close to it again :scared: 26.3 is not doable for me I'm pretty sure :odd:

Good luck guys 👍
U wot, I'm going to have to investigate my car for power ups. I hope Mario hasn't touched my car. :(

Fetchy should be checking for those, so feel free to add me to your submission convo if you want me to look closer at the replay file.

THE solution is to disguise the .gif as a .jpg and Fetchy will be all confused and like... "OK I'll give you this one."

In other words, rename the file to a .jpg and you'll be fine.

Edit: Remember this one? :dopey:

Duh. I went to go try that idea, but looks like someone beat me to it, but changed both car and track pics. :P
