...This has been quite a baptism of fire for me, first wrs tt ever...
Starting with a dirt race is definitely hard, but that's what is great about WRS, you have the opportunity to challenge yourself every week, if this week doesn't suit you as well as others, just use it as a learning experience.

While my splits aren't too bad, I still wish I could find more. So because this week doesn't suit me as well as others, I've been using it to try different DS3 configurations. I don't expect to light up the leaderboards but playing in the dirt is a great escape anyway :sly:👍

Welcome to the WRS @Bertracer and @r0msii 👍

Im going to get a 24 if it kills me, dont really want demotion in week one. it is tough but i have mostly been using the ds3,i think for this event a wheel is key as traction is lost so easily. I do lovd that it's very challenging, some of the drivers here are super quick.

Updated split's ,

Slower T1 but better overall time :) , i'm really enjoying this ,awesome choice guys .

There is no demotion unless you ask for it, and still maybe you dont get it. Only promotions so dont worry.

Getting my second proper try at this since my first last Sunday. Most laps are a good margin slower than my posted splits, but I just had a subpar T1+T2 and a great T3. I knew my current T3 was not great but there's at least 0.4 left there. :ill:

@EDK "sold" me his old G25 pedals and I hooked them to my DFGT and am loving the extra work my feet are having to put in. :D

Initially I thought that losing 0.25 in T1+T2 was going to drop me more than 2 places on the LB, but I'll take it for a 0.2 gain at the line. :)

23.847
49.864

It's amazing how much time you lose in T3 on the run to the S/F line if you accidentally bounce off the limiter before shifting to 3rd.

New splits. Still can do better but dont have time it. Was fun. Seems it could be my best result so far

24.171
50.538

Have given up on these one. After a 20 lap sprint, I'm 1.2 sec. behind my ghost...
We'll see what next week brings

My perfect lap shows about .25 left. But I think there is a little more in the middle sector. I keep catching my ghost through there.

I hadn't checked any of my laps for cleanliness, as I knew I hadn't hit any walls on the ones I have posted. But I have now checked my fast lap in response to the picture posted earlier in the thread.

Note to all - don't worry about the tree branches that overhang the track, they will not count as collisions. The only objects to be mindful of are the track edge boundary fences and curbs and any invisible wall contacts (audible and speed drop)

This week is pretty tought for DS3 drivers. There are some good tips in the thread including a mid 23s first sector video.
Submitted my leaderboard lap. I might push some more if someone tries to squeeze me out of D3 podium :)

Its really tricky with the DS3, it looks like I have the best splits till now of all DS3ers...funny that I need about 100 laps to beat my ghost from last sunday...never had a chance to beat it, and now *abracadabra* 0.4 faster at the line

Got back on the wheel, got into the 24s S1 straight away. I should be able to post something reasonable, will post splits shortly.
