After spending 2 days working on a setup here are my initial splits

I don't really know what I'm doing I just kept at it until I thought the car was close to balanced and felt secure enough to make consistent laps. This may help some while we wait for some real setups to be posted.

This thing is crazy but very cool :cool: will need to play around and start reducing downforce to get more speed as that loss of speed on the back straight is pretty blatant going by T3.. going back for more ;)

be competitive.
Giving it a go anyways. The good news is I should be able to drive it around this track in second gear and get a division three podium:sly:

5 frustrating red laps, alternating between @Whitetail and @PASM tune. Found the @PASM tune a bit more safe. Added a lot of downforce and using TCS:3 to DS3 noob-proof it.

Just tried to keep it on the track, didn't worry about pace. After 4 red laps, I then got a sequence of 4 valid laps. Time decreasing a lot at first, then smaller improvements. But now I was driving the car instead of the car driving me (up the wall). Red lap on the 5th due to wobbly braking.

Can we add T6 times as well? Still leaves the 2nd half of Porsche Curves and all the Ford Chicanes. Driver makes a bigger difference than setup so the results would still be a cliff-hanger.

Looking at current splits, seems I'm back into D1 'banker lap' pace. Historic combination. Might inspire a lot of entries. The races should be well attended, too!
 
Had a quick go this morning and its pretty fun, i honestly haven't driven in Sarthe in gt6 mostyle because online it seems to be raced for the "uh moh god! a huge straight!"

Used @PASM tune, added rear carmber to 0.60, since i couldn't keep the car on place accelerating on turns. it was either that, or that i had tried front DF at 330.

Will keep trying for a lap during the morning

I think this is the first time I've ever driven this configuration of the track. It seems a bit narrower in places.

My tune was rubbish! Used Bart's tune @PASM and I enjoyed myself immensely!!!! Thank you!!!!

My final splits, I am headed out to the lake for a much needed guys weekend! You know, fishing and such! Also to celebrate the impending arrival of my first Son in November!
