I don't see the image

And... I don't wanna slow down. I want to go faster! :D

You LMPs are going to be slowing hella. :) Cayman and 911 can hold you up.

Here it is again because it's awesome

Much faster lap! I completely messed up the carousel & dropped too low on the gears a couple of times but still very happy with the improvement :D

Nearly at my limit now so this might be the lap I submit. Thank you again to everyone that brought us this awesome combo

WOW!!! :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

That sector one time is insane!

Let me be the first to congratulate you on winning this week combo!

I've always been told to never count my chickens... :D

You've already set a really fast s1, but in case anyone else was wondering the key is the exit of turn 2. The wider you run at the apex of turn 1 will compromise the angle you should narrowly be missing the wall at turn 2, and it will feel like an eternity before you can get the car rotated (at least it does for me) and and the power laid down. If you take enough kerb at turn 1 with enough steering angle and the right amount of throttle (I use 2nd gear) it will put you into a good position to attack turn 2.

Out of bed Saturday morning, mind you I was up 5 times in the night in pain. Breakfast then Medication PS4 on one flying lap got me these.

3 tenths down on my best @ T1

Thanks! I’m very happy with my first sector time, just need to tidy up a few of the others to get a few more seconds off.
How you described is exactly how I’ve been taking the first couple of turns, except I’ve been doing it in 3rd as I struggled to get the power back down after turn 2 in 2nd without spinning. Occasionally I’ve managed it but it doesn’t seem to make any difference to my first split time.

I just hope I’m not too far off the pace in sectors 10+ as I’m hoping to gain a place in the results

Thanks to the folks "behind the scenes" that put these special events together. No small task.
Appreciate the opportunity to run with WRS again.

Clocked over 100 miles and don’t think I’ve got anything else to spare as one mistake can cost you the whole lap, may give it another go tomorrow.

Hi guys. I’m Sorry i could not do this one, bur i’m in at the green hell when the 2,4 hour race begins. Please let me know what Day we are racing.

The splits are a few tenths slower than last time, but about half a second faster at the line.

BTW, the Cayman can take flight as well at Flugplatz, if ever so slightly compared to the 911. Oh, and has anyone else managed to spin out in Karussell? :banghead:

Oh yes! two ways, either cutting in too tight off the concrete or getting on the gas to early and being spat out of the exit :D

View media item 38382Ok, This is my first time to attempt a weekly time trial on GTPlanet, lots of fun so far. I saved the replay and reviewed it to ensure I stayed legal. I submitted my final time to fetchbot and got a reply saying it had been accepted. I also sent a PM to EDK saying which car I used (I couldn't find Vexan). Anybody see anything I missed?

Also, (newby questions) Why are final lap times not discussed in thread? I don't understand how you get yourself posted to the leaderboard...?

It posts your splits on the leaderboard. Ranks you by the splits. Then at the end of the week, lap times are posted (the one you sent to fetchy). So, you could lose or gain at the end of the week

New splits - after two days fighting with retry button at GP section :D (I'm a master yoda of it now :D )

Well, slower splits in the beginning, closer to my best in mid, and 1.85s better at the line. Well, still tons of workout to do, but so little time ...

We don't discuss our final lap times in the thread as it adds to the enjoyment of the event - guessing how you stand against your "fierce rivals" (@Never2fast1 and @Nerazzurri could tell you stories about :D ), in a good way I mean this. ^^

Our beloved mr. Fetchy has one job, to collect our splits, add them to the leaderboard and at the end of the event week (8 days in total) he adds our submitted lap times through PM sent to him. In case he isnt't on vacation, collecting something else somewhere else. :D  welcome on the board.
