I don't see the image
And... I don't wanna slow down. I want to go faster!
You LMPs are going to be slowing hella. Cayman and 911 can hold you up.
Here it is again because it's awesome

WOW!!!
That sector one time is insane!
Let me be the first to congratulate you on winning this week combo!
I've always been told to never count my chickens...
You've already set a really fast s1, but in case anyone else was wondering the key is the exit of turn 2. The wider you run at the apex of turn 1 will compromise the angle you should narrowly be missing the wall at turn 2, and it will feel like an eternity before you can get the car rotated (at least it does for me) and and the power laid down. If you take enough kerb at turn 1 with enough steering angle and the right amount of throttle (I use 2nd gear) it will put you into a good position to attack turn 2.

Chris.
The splits are a few tenths slower than last time, but about half a second faster at the line.
BTW, the Cayman can take flight as well at Flugplatz, if ever so slightly compared to the 911. Oh, and has anyone else managed to spin out in Karussell?
View attachment 716880 View media item 38382Ok, This is my first time to attempt a weekly time trial on GTPlanet, lots of fun so far. I saved the replay and reviewed it to ensure I stayed legal. I submitted my final time to fetchbot and got a reply saying it had been accepted. I also sent a PM to EDK saying which car I used (I couldn't find Vexan). Anybody see anything I missed?
Also, (newby questions) Why are final lap times not discussed in thread? I don't understand how you get yourself posted to the leaderboard...?

It posts your splits on the leaderboard. Ranks you by the splits. Then at the end of the week, lap times are posted (the one you sent to fetchy). So, you could lose or gain at the end of the week
Indeed. I'd done the former during my time trial session today, now I've done the latter as well during the support race.Oh yes! two ways, either cutting in too tight off the concrete or getting on the gas to early and being spat out of the exit
We don't discuss our final lap times in the thread as it adds to the enjoyment of the event - guessing how you stand against your "fierce rivals" (@Never2fast1 and @Nerazzurri could tell you stories about ), in a good way I mean this. ^^View attachment 716880 View media item 38382Ok, This is my first time to attempt a weekly time trial on GTPlanet, lots of fun so far.
