Ha, 2 girlfriends. I wouldn't mind that at all, but I think it was some bags of concrete stashed in the back :lol:

After checking myself, you are correct, I mistakenly wrote down in my notes the time of 1'24.152 and therefore submitted the wrong time. I made a simple mistake here but if the admins want to black flag my time because of that, I understand as it is a rules violation, nothing I can do about it now. Mistakes happen and I sincerely apologize for this one. Sorry for wasting your time also in having to check an invalid lap. I'll just consider it black flagged since it is a rules violation. Again, my apologies to you and the staff. :guilty:
 
No problem Mitch, it was not a waste of time. When I have get the chance, I like looking at how others attack a tt.
 
If memory serves, this is your first typo, Mitch, and first-time typo's will almost always be forgiven, especially when it's in the thousandths place.

In the past we've said this about typos:

The WRS Admin's discussed submission typo's, and here is our official stance:

  • Typo's will be handled on a case-by-case basis by the WRS Admins, with the first offense usually being excused.
  • Black flags will result for frequent repeat offenses.
  • Obvious/egregious typo's are thrown out as invalid by Vaxen while generating Results threads.
  • If the typo-submitted time is faster than your real time, the Results thread will be corrected to the slower real time, and placements will be recalculated. No handicap recalculation will be done, unless the WRS Admins decide it's necessary.
  • If the typo-submitted time is slower than your real time, the Results thread will NOT be corrected to the faster real time, and you are stuck with the placement you received.

So this falls into that 2nd-to-last bullet and I'll go dock you .002 in the results. 👍

Thanks for your leniency with me on this, its very much appreciated. I was doing good just to get a clean lap in with a decent time with the condition I was playing in, so I'm surprised that that was all that went wrong. :lol: I'll be more careful and again, thanks for your kindness regarding this issue. :cheers:
 
I'll get my replay up asap. Toshiba has marked the laptop repaired. Just gotta wait for them to ship it back. I'm trying to figure a way to send it to my galaxy s3 and upload it but no dice so far :/ if i cant find a way then I won't be able to upload it until Wednesday when I get home.

Thanks for checking Chris. Just wanted to make sure my lap was clean with the confusion I had. You did a great lap too 👍
 
Since there's still tons of NTSC replays left to be checked after 2 weeks, I've decided I'll check some in a bit.

When I waited on the gas just a split second longer, my ghost would rocket past me. Maybe I was waiting to long
 
I don't think luv2drive will be able to submit a replay until at least next Friday because of what he said in the Week 134 thread:

I think it would be best to just black flag him.
 
He let me know well before the deadline what the situation was, and we decided to wait for him. When people wait for us to bug them, after the deadline, they aren't shown that courtesy.

I had actually asked him if he wanted to just take the black flag because his handicap was positive anyway, so doodle was thinking about it correctly, but luv2 didn't get back to me till just now, saying he'll take the black flag. :lol:

I'll archive the thread sometime today.
