GTP_WRS Week 136 : Sierra's Shoe

Man i wish i could take part in this , Last Thursday when i got home from work I booted my PS3 and booted GT6 and got a error : save data corrupted unable to load ...something like that . So i thought OK i have a backup on my PC uploaded it same issue with the backed up data . So i thought OK i guess i will have to start a new game which did not really bother me so started the new game and got a error when booting up the game unable to create save file ???? Did a bit of research online and turned out i needed to restore my PS3 to defaults which i did and booted GT6 it loaded my save data yay so i'm all good to play ......Well i was so wrong i could not get the damn game data to update 21 updates as it kept failing .

Then I found this video online and is this the only way to fix this ? If so there is no way i would get the time to do this :



Hopefully someone has come across this and knows a better way to fix this , but basically you have to wait for one update to finish downloading and install , then disable your internet and boot GT6 to install the update . Close GT6 and remove the disk , re-enable internet , check for updates and download the next update to install . I simply don't have a day to do this , so i guess i will be playing Assetto on PC until GT Sport arrives . Unless anyone knows another method to this madness and i guess i have Sony to thank for this stupidity ?

The barriers on the final turn (inside and outside) appear to be magnetic !!!

Final splits and submitted. I have had a good battle with this combo all week. I was hoping for a better time and have had better splits but they are useless if not all in the same lap or a red lap.
