Had a go following @Jfrod lead using @Whitetail 's tune with some changes

20.133
44.950

Will have another go later this lap was way too clean and I've been stucked in again

RH 80/62 Toe -0.05/-0.03 LsD 5/11/5 be warned I'm not great at tuning

My tune so far:
IMG_1298.JPG IMG_1299.JPG IMG_1300.JPG IMG_1301.JPG

reset gears then final gear far right, top speed far left
Set gear ratios and finally the final gear

Thanks, figured the gear ratios as much.....and then realized that 220=137hp. All is good. For me, your setup has a "calming" effect on the beast.

20.224

Very happy with this lap looks very clean and tidy have even beaten the lap time I was aiming for which I thought impossible. At the same time I'm not happy I know there was a few mistakes and the amount of time I found in the last sector is scary

It's interesting that - as I recall - almost always a dirty lap of mine I eventually beat (before dl). At this point I still have 20 ms left for that.

I have developed a dislike for the noise at the start. For some reason the program will not shift to second, no matter what settings I try.

After seeing improvement with @Meister Fetz settings I went back to my original McLaren and found out I hadn't done the oil change so was running at 618pp.
I then beat my best lap by another tenth with more still out there and noticed some differences in performance with my settings compared to @Meister Fetz settings on my previous best lap.

80/75
Min/Min
1/1
1/1
7/7
Zero camber/toe
Brakes 3/4

Transmission final far right. Max speed far left.
2.774
2.132
1.643
1.380
1.170
1.001
Final 3.250
Diff 10/15/10
DF 450/450

I noticed better speed through mid gears and top end. It may help!!!!!
Splits for best lap so far
20.917
46.150

Not my favorite car in stock trim due to the weird weight shift, but fiddling with the tuning helps a bit (even though I'm no good at tuning).

20.857

I tried @Meister Fetz 's tune and it felt pretty good, although it was a bit too squirrelly for me on corner entry. Perhaps there is a clue to me I should work on the transition from braking to turning more... hmm

So here is the tune I found to work for me.

70 / 70
19.05 / 20.14
4 / 4
4 / 4
7 / 7
0.0 / 0.0
+0.05 / 0.00

b/b 3 / 3

Transmission:
Stock, but moved final to 2.985
Pretty much just a 5 speed

LSD:
10 / 15 10

Downforce:
453 / 550

Question to those who can tune: What is happening on track with the car that makes you know when to fiddle with the toe angles? I understand what toe is, but I don't recognize the symptoms for when it needs adjusting.
