Can I have some clarification on something.

Towards the end of the lap there is a large area of concrete on the inside of the easy right-hander that leads to the final corner. Are we allowed to go 4 wheels all over this or must two wheels stay within the white line marking the track boundary?

From the rules I'm assuming this is ok, but I want to check before I start "abusing" this area.

That section is completely part of the track in this event. So it is allowed to go there with 4 wheels.

First stint at this weeks test, and proving that I need to do more laps.

Fairlady
32.542
55.293

Amuse
32.583
55.856

I had a few more laps in the fairlady last night and saw some much better splits but always stuffed the best ones on the final turn .. best splits of the night were 32.2's and 54.5's but yet to get a clean lap with those splits :(
I did gain an extra .2 overall on my old save with a 32.3 / 54.7 but gonna get back on it today as I know I can nail a much better lap if I can hold my composure for the final turn .. also I was keeping the car off the concrete part and within the white lines before the last turn! so there's something to gain there also :sly:
I'll be back 👍

First splits.

Fairlady S
32.615
55.201

Amuse RS
32.604
56.066

Fun combo's with more grip than expected. 👍

Incredible times Ron 👍

Mr_P, back with a vengeance!

All the best

Board updated.

I'll update your splits in Luxy ASAP after you post clean-lap-splits with 1000's of seconds, ok?

Yeah was just sharing progress info for now .. will update my splits properly when I'm happy with the final laptime 👍 cheers!

I'm infuriated with the Tuned Z through sector 2, I'm lucky to beat the 56 barrier if I do a 32.5xx. Knocked a couple of tenths off my overall time, but I am going to have to work at this one. Which is fine in the fairlady, as much grip as you want, but that Tuned has a slippy rear.

Sweet, good to see we're on speaking terms again :D

That tuner car really buggers me. Tho I manage to go around not using TCS :scared: it's a very scary ride and I am hesitant to press the pedal to the metal at any exit. This results in slow - tho clean - laps:

Fairlady 33.430 - 56.867
Opera Z 34.213 - 58.096

Board but not quite bored

how can i have the fairlady down to 308hp?
I can only have down to 311hp
Hey Ole Bjørn! You must be taking a wrong route into driving that car for this WRS combo. What you do is select the car in your garage, then go to arcade mode and pick time trial NOT single race. When you're in there you can't change the setup of the car other than manual/auto, STD/PRO mode, driving aids and compound choice.

Happy racing in WRS 👍

I know there's no place on the board for one-car times, but I haven't touched the Opera Tuned Z yet. Anyway, here are my splits for the Fairlady Z on S1s so far...

T1: 32.353
T2: 55.008

There's still improvements to be had there, I'm not getting turn 3 correct. Braking too hard instead of easing the brakes to hit the apex at just the right speed.

I'm really loving this combo, and will start looking at the other one as soon as I break into the 54s for T2. Looking around, I feel very proud of that T1 time :)

All the best

Had another quick go in the Fairlady (what a stupid name for a sports car) after Liverpool's magnificent win over Real tonight.

T1 32.256
T2 54.694

That lap had a poor middle sector, but a really good last corner - can possibly see another 2 10ths at T2. Overall improved by 0.3.

Second session resulted in the following:

Fairlady:
T1: 32.484
T2: 55.160

350Z by GT:
T1: 32.580
T2: 55.942

Thanks!

Just can't find anything in the middle sector but faster in each.

Update Fairlady
32.491
55.118

Fairlady:
T1: 0'32.366
T2: 0'54.901

350Z tuned:
T1: 0'32.475
T2: 0'55.513

splits after first try:

Fairlady
T1 32.402 (breaking in .300s)
T2 55.209

350Z RS
T1 32.604 (also in .400's)
T2 56.028

Finally found another couple of tenths through T2 in the Tuned Z, though I lost a couple of tenths through T1!

I did see a 54.8 in the fairlady, that felt nice.

Another nibble ,this done in the Amuse.

Amuse
32.513
55.652

Little bits add up, I guess, to make the difference.

And Fairlady

Fairlady
32.480
55.002

Another improvement...

Fairlady
T1 32.293
T2 54.631

350Z
T1 32.343
T2 55.277

Loving the 350 on N3's... have been really close to a 32.1 T1, but the lap above had a good T2 and T3. Very addictive... will be having a final fling at the weekend.

Improved my Fairlady Z times to the point where I'm happy to leave this car alone now and concentrate on the tuned Z after tonight:

Fairlady Z (S1)
T1: 32.385
T2: 54.896

Very very happy with that :)

All the best
