Ran for an hour last night in the hopes of going faster, but couldn't even get within a tenth of it. Guess I'll just have to submit my lucky lap time and go play around at Monza.
It’s great to see so many quick t1s on the board. It looks like nearly everyone has struggled to find that bit extra in t2.
I really could have done with some help on that one. I look forward to seeing the quick times. I still suspect it was in the first right-hander.
I peaked quite early this week and then, doubled my mileage just to shave off a few thousandths. Thankfully, I reached my target with (what I hope is viewed as) a clean lap.
Submitted and accepted - over 727 miles run this week as since Wednesday been chasing my best submitted time and it took until the very last banzai session today to finally beat it by 0.2 secs at the line but still fall just short of my target goal that looked so feasible mid week. Frustrating but a very good experience overall and learnt a lot.
Thanks to my team and @Argon especially for the advice and guidance that very much helped me towards that improvement.
On to Monza to do battle with not so much a prancing horse but a skittish one maybe ?
Last attempt, great fun most of time, sheer frustration the rest. Times when at start of session would just keep hitting, glancing or brushing the outside wall at first corner, over and over again. Aaaaahhhh!!!
Overall, a great combination.
Anyhow, slightest of improvements:
