The following information can be discussed in this thread :

  • T1 and T2 times
  • Any settings discussion.

Viewing your T1 & T2 Lap Time Splits:

Submission:

Note:This week ,please send your submission to sjaak68

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 19 Submission ) to (sjaak68):

  • you can submit only once
  • please include in your submission PM your division, GTP_Tag, Full name of the Car you used, and final lap time
  • the deadline is Monday 16 March 11:59 pm GMT
  • if you are unsure of the deadline try this site

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.
Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • when a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Good luck

+1 👍

It's going to be interesting to see the results next week, I hope no one car stands out.

And I thought the last two weeks was mixin' it up. Ha

Now this looks very interesting - how in the world am I gonna run all these cars in just one week? This should be like WRS 19, 20, and 21. :)

Knowing how much the OLR Admin team puts in before creating one of these, this one must have been months in the making because I'm sure someone ran all of these cars as a test.

This is going to be a lot of work for the board. If someone tests 5 cars at one given day, he might post 5 different sets of splits. Or even worse, he might have a morning, an afternoon and an evening session and make multiple posts each day ...

To keep things easy, maybe we can agree to post only one set of splits each day. Good idea?

Interesting combo,
I've been racing here in Beginner event 1 and I know the track pretty well.
From Amateur FF N2 tyres to Pro N3's the difference will be almost unnoticeable.

Steven - Since the car choice must be kept secret, and since we are only to submit our fastest lap, the board will be quite easy. Just T1 and T2 splits, no specific car at the top area, just P/W Ratio 5.0-5.99.

By the Way, excellent idea, Sjaak. :D

We'll see about the board - you might just be right Kevin.

And I fully agree that Sjaak has again come up with a very original combo idea 👍

This is going to be a tough one for sure, but very likable indeed. :)

T1: 22.533
T2: 42.084

Hey Sjaak,

You really made an art of this one 👍

Looks like this might get me back into TT's and hot lapping! I know what Im guna be testing first :sly:

Tried 4 different cars out and quite surprised which one turned the fastest laps... been quicker at T2 in another car, but this one's best so far in the final turn....

T1 22.273
T2 41.540

Love Suzi East :)

EDIT - Changed post, Im a moron  Times dont count :(

Wow! Very interesting, not sure if i'll do this though. If I get enough time I'll definetely be joining in.👍

Board initiated.

I wonder what the Steward has done to the 4WD cars that fit into the 5.00-5.99 power band. The Audi TT, both Evos and the older Subaru all have fitting PTWs.

EDIT TTW ratios removed.

My surprising fast lap? I'm looking at Jack's time and wondering if he's found a wonder car for this event... I thought my lap was pretty good and I'm almost a second down at T2.

I assume that this is weight divided by torque? That would mean that the lower the figure, the better the acceleration.
Yes, just like PTW lower means better 👍

EDIT first craplap - oh boy, this IS an exercise in throttle control, and I can't even get a clean lap in without TCS below 3 :scared:

24.514
45.743

Board updated up to post 42.

Normally, PTW ratio is expressed as bhp/tonne for example.
In this case, higher numbers are better.

So - if you calculated weight divided by torque, then lower numbers are better.
or if you divided torque by weight, then higher numbers are better.

The numbers in their own right are important, but gearing has a huge impact on a cars ability to use it's torque effectively.

Thank God, I was beginning to think it was time for me to put the wheel on ebay and give this game up :D

Settled on the right car now and made a small improvement at T2, and another 10th at the line... I reckon I'm pretty much within a 10th of my capabilities...

T1 22.322
T2 41.509
