Welcome back. How mad were you to not submit last week?

Thanks! Haha to be honest I wasn't that bummed. There's always going to be another combo at the Nordschleife. And this week's combo is soo good that it takes some of that pain away ;).

Glad you like it, and I see you are signed up for the Nurb online races, so maybe catch you there Saturday. 👍

I wish someone would write a guide on how to tune.. not the stuff they have on the forums.. more like.. start with springs until it does this.. then adjust dampers to blah blah.. then arb and camber / toe to do this..

I start with transmission, and usually use the LSD to get a general handling characteristic, then use the suspension to make the smaller adjustments. Finish up with some combined LSD/Susp adjustments to get it just the way I want.

If I ever figure out what I want. :P

Slowly knocking 10th's off.. seen better splits.. as I get used to this fantastic course..

Minimum LSD on deceleration, low rear downforce, rear brake bias, low rear toe in ...
I don't think I could tame a beast like that :)

Sort of using Gravitron's first tune with the diff set to 5/5/5, slightly stiffer front springs, 0 camber all around, and a few other things

Had off track grip set to low whoops :banghead:

Hi again all.
have been out of action during the world cup, and the ring looked like so much fun, but I will definitely be competing in this one, will not need as much time)
how much is the car?

Quick run with @ItsAllAboutWins tune. Slightly more rear biased brake balance.

Lost 0.4 in the first turn of T2 and the downhill right. Last sector poor as well, but its nice when you get a rhythm going.

I think it's around 500.000
Just run some seasonals, there is easy money to be made.

Great combo, Lucas. Learning a new track is always lots of fun. What's with that turn 2, though???

Using Gravitron's tune right now.

Actually Kevin gets credit for this one, he suggested it, but I built the thread. 👍 If it was solely up to me with no direction from Kev, it would have been the 288 GTO on SH tires. :dopey:
Thread title would have been the same, just replace AMG with GTO. :P

Ok, something pretty strange just happened: I replicated my best lap to the thousandth. Not that strange all by itself, but on subsequent laps (no restart, same session) the time deltas at T1 and T2 were still relative to the old best while the ghost line was that for the newer run... I was confused when I got blue deltas a couple of times while seeing the ghost line in front of me! Then I figured it out...

By the way, I don't remember if anybody had reported on this yet, but body rigidity seems to help -- in my case, anyway. I will post new splits after a few more laps.

Added body rigidity and totally lost my way through Sector 1! Luckily found my way again in Sectors 2 and 3. Hope to put Sector 1 back in play before it's all said and done.
