The car suits the track well, city ones not my favorite but Madrid is better than London IMO
Its all about wins tune, as I have decided not to waste any more time again on my own...

Yep, down force kills you on the straights, now that I'm more confident on track I have lowered it 80/150...

I think you should check your tyres unless that touch was more two or three big whacks to turn faster, I'd be quite surprised if anyone outside of D1 Gold could post a 54 this early.

Running a first sector this fast compromised my second sector due to a slower exit from the hairpin. :irked:
 
Tried the couple of setups here and could do nothing with them. It feels like the gearing is all wrong (yea, like a newbie shifter like me would know!). Any way, tried something I put on GT500 cars and that was like, completely crappy! Tried just going out with the stock setup to get used to the car on this track and actually like the way it felt. A little tweaking and it might just be fast.

Edit. Oops. Went to stock sttings and forgot to change the tires!:ill:

Thanks for the great tune Brandon and EDK - it feels so great I spent most of the time just driving cuz it handled beautifully - I only wish the car had an interior and the track was a bit prettier I could just drive for hours and not worry about a thing.

Jumped on Kevins @EDK tune first and enjoyed the drive. So stuck with it for a while, and came up with these splits.

It was hard to check what with all the tire smoke but I didn't get any indications it could be dirty so I'm confident enough to submit. Looks like I'm throwing the gauntlet down D2 :)

Very nice second sector, unfortunately I've figured out the last corner before the checkpoint, but forgotten how to do the long left before it. :(

Had some much faster splits but that last chicane scuppers me every time :(...

I enjoy to this TT but i don't feel fast :(, however after 1,30 hour I got this:

I found this on Vagabond's youtube channel. The driver is GTP_wge who won the TT that week. Something to compare your driving lines to.

One thing I'd add is as that's GT5, the left hand side of start/finish is way bumpier in 6, the right hand side is smoother, no loss of speed through lack of traction (IMO, of course!).. great vid, I'd loose my nerve running that close to walls :lol:..
