..snip.. even more memorable for some poor sod then here is my 12 lap session replay for verification, lap 11 is the fastest lap in the session with a wall touch at the end turn, but my submitted lap is lap 12. I suggest whoever takes it on should just load it up and go make a cuppa while it runs through the early laps to make things easier ;)

Cheers guys, thoroughly enjoyed this one :)
Regards
Ron.

Coffee was good and the lap was clean & green

👍 Really nice lap! Very safe last turn :)

Nice driving by everyone this week, and I love to see such heavy participation. Nice work all, and thanks to the organizers, tuners, and updaters for making it all worthwhile, I just sit here and enjoy. Thanks.

Congrats to Timo for the overall win, and to all the division winners and podiums as well.

There were some very close times throughout and 35 within 1 second of Timo and another 2 just .006 beyond 1 second.
So well done to all that competed last week, it was a great combo and what a great turnout.
Speaking of which, 43 drivers, that's a full grid for...................dare I say........
NASCAR, there I said it  runs and hides from the thrown water bottles and beer cans
Imagine 43 of us out there at one time

Really enjoyed this combo Sjaak and it looks as though most people did also. 👍

Here is my replay.

Well done to all some very quick laps, but also some very close times indeed. Congrats to all those that made podium places.

Hey all!

I made an honest mistake submitting my time for WRS 27. I submitted a 1'17.113, while when I went to copy the replay, noticed that it was in fact a 1'17.133. Thankfully, this change does not alter my placement for the week.

I have PM'ed the OLR to request their ruling, but in the meantime I have attached my replay in hopes that I am pardoned, lesson learned.

Thanks all!
Adam (Tzayad)

Ban him !! LOL - Give me the gold !!

Really don't think it will be an issue - honest enough mistake. Just means I was that little bit closer to D3 Gold :(

Coffee was good and the lap was clean & green

👍 Really nice lap! Very safe last turn :)

I can imagine how tedious it was waiting for the laps to go bye :guilty: Thanks for checking it Timo! much appreciated bud 👍 I'm gonna grab an armful of available replays after I've had a cuppa and help the cause also :)

edit: ok I just downloaded every replay available ... I'll be back :sly:

Actually it was quite fun to see how your lines changed during those laps :) ..you got closer and closer and finally nailed it. No problem at all 👍

Thanks again Timo 👍

Very nice laps from you all ... Well Done 👍

Unfortunately ...

4---1'16.976---GTP_CarlPKY in a Blue Atenza - Contact with the last barrier, I watched it 3 times in all different views and its defo a contact :(
Sorry mate! but you really need to check your lap thoroughly before submitting ... even a 2nd opinion from another member behind the scenes could have gave you a chance to clean it up and saved you any embarassment :( something to keep in mind for future events ;) If someone else wants to check this one also just to confirm if I am right or wrong it would be appreciated

Cheers guys!
Ron.

wow i didnt realise how competitive WRS is!!

I only did about 5 laps but was still expecting at least top 10

better get my act together

No probs guys 👍 ... it definitely gave me something to take my mind of the hangover from last nights binge

Yep, even Holl01 can't afford that kind of approach in WRS.

Great job verifying those replays Ron, you're an asset 👍

Sorry to hear your lap wasn't verified green Carl, I hope that doesn't affect your enthusiasm and further participation in WRS mate, it's really great to have you around 👍

All the best
Maz

Wow thanks Ron!

Except that the lap was a 1'17.133 and not a 1'17.113 - still waiting to hear the ruling. Glad that its deemed clean regardless.

One number difference is always allowed in the past, though backed up by a replay.

That is happened so no actions from our side.

BTW all replays posted,all reviewed

AMAZING 👍

Ron.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to everyone who took part in the competition this week for submitting a replay that was not clean.

I can't begin to express how genuinely embarrassed I am right now.
First of all, sorry to you Mr. P for putting you in the position of having to point out my mistake.

I should have checked and double-checked enough to make sure the lap was clean. I haven't had the opportunity to look at the lap again, but I already have your review, as well as the review of someone else whose opinion I deem to be beyond reproach, that there was indeed contact with the barrier on the final turn, so I really only need to take a look and see what I did wrong to make sure it won't happen again.

I hope you will all forgive me for this embarrassing mistake on my part.
I promise I wasn't trying to pull a "fast one." I guess I just had blinders on, for lack of a better excuse.
I really did review the lap several times, in different views, but I guess I saw what I wanted to see.

All I can tell you, is that I would never want to gain an advantage by using shady tactics. As the people who know me/race with me on this site can hopefully vouch for, I would rather finish last every single time, than get ahead by questionable means. I hope you all will give me the benefit of the doubt and see fit to allow me to continue on in the WRS. From now on, (if I should be fortunate enough to have the opportunity to be in a position to submit a replay) I will make sure that I take advantage of the many outstanding people I have come to know in this community, and get a second opinion before I submit a replay/laptime that is even remotely close to being questionable.

Again, I'm really, really sorry everyone. Really sick to my stomach right now. :yuck: :guilty: Good reputations can be hard in the building, yet very easy to lose. I will do my best going forward to try and rebuild whatever reputation I had built with you all prior to this incident.

Sincerely,

Carl

Carl, I think anyone who's ever raced or spoken with you knows it wasn't deliberate. Mistakes happen mate and you will undoubtedly not make it again because of your own ethics and personality.

I feel for you mate, I'm sure you'll be forgiven by all 👍

Of course you do realise this means you still haven't beaten my slow ass yet

All the best
Maz

Well said 👍

S*** happens, I'm sure you'll be more vigilant in future... and one mistake does not ruin a reputation as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks for the kind words, Maz, and Stotty. I think it's about time for me to quit being down in the dumps about it, and go ahead and move on to London 👍

I think more than anything, the reason I feel so badly about what happened, is that I have the utmost respect for everyone here in the WRS--from Sjaak and Vaxen, to all the competitors. You are all really outstanding, and supportive people, who hold both yourselves and everyone else to the highest standards. Not living up to those standards this past week is what bothered me the most.

Of course you do realise this means you still haven't beaten my slow ass yet

All the best
Maz

I know Maz, at this rate, I don't know if I am ever going to get one over on you now mate  Good luck this week at London 👍

Well you definitely deserve credit for the mature way you have taken the verdict Carl 👍 We all at sometime in virtual and real life make bad judgement calls and this was just one of those situations, nobody here will hold it against you :)
We make mistakes and learn from them ... thats the way of life 👍 I've also been DQ'ed in my early days of WRS for 3 wheels off etc ... nobody is perfect!

... Again a great attitude, that to me can only strengthen a reputation ;)
Respect
Ron.
