I had a break from GT5P recently but this WRS combo convinced me to have a go.

T1: 25.079
T2: 40.521

It was fun. The walls are closing very fast and every time you accelerate you hope that your wheels are exactly aligned with the car. Otherwise its a big crash (for me at least).

Thanks to Synwraith for great breaking tip. Helped a lot.

Hi all,

Well after putting in my first 20 lap session this afternoon, I was quite happy with my first set of splits, until I saw the leaderboard...man, there's some REALLY quick times there!! 👍

T1 25.540
T2 41.338

After watching my replay I can see where I'm losing time so I'm going to put in a lot more laps tonight and hope for some improvement. Lap was done with TC 1, tried it at 0 but spent most of the time trying to hold onto some big tankslappers!!

Improved splits:

T1: 24.940
T2: 40.225

I could spend all night on this, fabulous car/track combo 👍

All the best
Maz

I've checked and double checked all settings and I still in disbelief but very happy.

15 laps?????

24.427
39.554

Can see more too????

This never happens to me :)

WOW!!! Those splits are incredible zed300!!

For a car and esp a track I normally do bad on I'm actually getting better and starting to enjoy it!!!

decided I had to try it agian with TC=0 and I've gone quicker. Tried it earlier in the week and always ended up pointing the wrong way but today i got it together. Not sure if I've got much more to come thou :grumpy:

T1 25.043
T2 40.579

I'm not sure if I'm motivated to give this one another go guys :indiff: I absolutely hate trying to get this tank through the left right sweeper in sector 2 cleanly with the controller. Just not worth the frustration going up big at the first sector only to have a slight brush with the wall going through the sweeper, or having the car step out of line when you think you can give it a bit more gas.

I'm sure I'll be joining you guys in future WRS events, especially once my wheels shows

Keep up the good works guys...already some extremely impressive times being put up 👍

First clean splits:

T1: 25.100
T2: 40.370

Have seen several 24.8xx's, but finding it very hard to manage a clean lap.
Put in 3 grueling hours off and on tonight  ... need some rest now :nervous:
The Viper, being the V-10 beast that it is, is surprisingly nimble around the narrow
streets of London.

Since I've been sidelined, may I say, go zed300!

Brock, please don't be put off by the fact that you're not top of the leaderboard. I hope you do submit your time because you might get a D1 podium in your very first week, and that mate is quite an honour for anybody with this comptitive field 👍

It is a little frowned upon in WRS when members only submit or provide replays when they think they'll win the division or whole event. I'm sure that's not what you're doing bro, but it'd be great to see your name in the results

Be sure to save your replay onto a USB or something and upload to your PC for verification when the results are published.

All the best

I agree:tup::)

I'm currently running 41.5's at T2 no accurate splits to report yet thought.

I did a quick session and was able to improve T1 with over 2 tenth of a second and carry that gain throughout the lap. But I don't think there is much more in it for me. :nervous:

T1: 24.746
T2: 40.064

Might be your opinion, but you should still show some respect for those who makes this race available for you. Shouldn't you?

I was definitely planning to submit my time regardless of whether or not I was able to improve further 👍 :) Just wasn't sure if I was going to have another go, as it would probably just end up in frustrations :scared:

I like this combo for the most part...it just sucks when one turn (the sweeper) is the thing that holds you back from putting in a top time. It just happens to be one of the those turns that REALLY sucks with the 6-axis...as I'm sure you can understand of all people  It's quite lovely knocking off a low .5 first sector, only to know in the back of your head, the chances of getting through the sweeper fast and most importantly clean is slim to none. For someone as competitive as myself, it's frustrating being held back by this pos controller in such a situation. All I can say is, where's my wheel!!! :grumpy: :dopey:

:banghead::dunce::embarrassed::censored::banghead:🤬:embarrassed::dunce::dunce:

With great regret and apology, I have to ask for my time to be removed.

I was driving a "TUNED" SRT10 I am extremely embarressed and sorry for doing so.

I knew something was not right, when I started a 2nd session and started to go much quicker than holl01, :banghead::banghead:🤬:embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed:

Gave this a go and its very similar to the other FR we drove here not too long ago, maybe next week :)

Easy mistake i guess?

kind of obvious something wasn't right when you are beating d1 gold drivers though

This is in fact the only reason why I will submit this week even though my time may well put me among the bottom five of _all_ racers.

I'm losing a full second in 15 seconds of driving between T1 and T2.

Edit: I checked my times between T1 and T2 against some other people and found out that I in fact lose more on the first part.

It was suggested somewhere that the time between splits should aslo be published on teh leaderboard. That is an excellent idea I think.

Pfff, done a few laps &#^%$ combo IMO.

What's the point of the post?
It's not informative. It's not constructive.
The OLR admin guys give up their free time to provide the framework for people like you and me to participate. Your post is quite dismissive of their efforts.
If the combo doesn't suit you - fine. You can't please all of the people all of the time.
Best thing to do is just skip the week, and race again when they can find one you like. 👍

Edit:
Just noticed that I've typed 6 lines to say the same thing Timo did in one line
Gimme some English lessons Timo?
