I wrote a Fetchy at registration time, Errors:
BallastPosition setting is invalid
WeightReduction setting is invalid
I thought that this is allowed?

From the race regulation page:

  • Tuning: The following tuning parts are allowed:
    • Sports Computer
    • Exhaust Manifold
    • Intake Manifold
    • Sports Catalytic Converter
    No
other tuning, custom parts, weight reduction, ballast adjustment, or chassis reinforcement are allowed. We can verify these things from the replays.

My latest splits are a bit slower but i improve in total

30.178
57.328

Still off the pace but i don't know if i can find some time to improve

Does Fetchy detect Low/Real Grip settings? I'm not 100% sure that my time was set on Real, my next best is .3 slower but is definitely set on Real.

Just noticed it picked up on Ballast Position & Weight Reduction in an earlier post.

Aww as if I've missed this :(! I love Rome as a track but been helping out at a rally since Thursday. I'll give it a crack tomorrow as I'm not at work and see what I get!

Checked my replay, and if you use the external view at the kink, it can look like your mirror is in the wall. Changing to the photo mode and taking a step back shows this :

What do you guys reckon? It is clean, but if you just stay in exterior view in the replay, it looks iffy.

Does fetchy only accept the last submission? If I chuck this one in, and I need to change it, can I?

Anyway:

Tried to submit again, included @JoostBaksteen and @Gravitron. No response from Fetchy.

I'm not happy with my lap, I won't be surprised if I lose five spots in the results. I had several .4s in t1 and a best t2 of .867, but spun in the last corner because the left rear got on the curb. I also had many t3s that were two tenths faster than the lap I'm submitting.

This combo was super addictive and one of the most frustrating that I can remember.

If that's as close as it got, it's fine. We use actual photos taken in photo mode as the ultimate evidence, so looking at it in preview mode is fine but take the photo to see what it shows because the two can differ.

I'm not an expert on this, but I think that, just like in GT5, there is a difference in the instant the replay is frozen and the one illustrated in a photo. So it could happen that to take the picture of the same instant represented by the frozen replay, you have to freeze the replay a bit later. Not sure whether that's clear or whether it makes sense, so I will use an example.

If you replay is frozen at x.017s and looks dirty, but taking a picture shows it is clean, that might just show that you're clean at x.000s. If you suspect you could be dirty at x.017s, you would then need to freeze the replay at x.033s to take the picture of the relevant instant (x.017s). This is all assuming just one frame difference (1/60 of a second) between both instants (replay freeze vs photo). I hope that's clearer :scared:

Great combo combining a 'slower car' with a flowing circuit like Rome City. The technicality required to hustle this car around a circuit really tests ability more than high powered vehicles; imho.
I ran another two session effort this week. I would genuinely have liked to spend more time on this one but at the same time, I am satisfied that the splits represent the effort put in. I know I had more to give but this was ultimately my best lap,...still no platinum; I wonder if arcade mode counts for distance covered?!

read as LittlePaul (until final sector I'm sure):

How the heck is everyone getting such low times in t1?! My best has been a .55 and I have no idea how I done it

I'm baffled as well - it seems everytime I think I've done it slightly differently or faster I end up with a slower time. I've not been able to get as low .6 anymore, hit it a couple of times before but not since. It must be that last corner giving lots of speed over the s/f line that allows some time in T1 surely, otherwise I'm clueless.

Yeah, going into the green to setup for the next lap can give you 104mph at the line. I saw a couple low 29.5's today in T1, but cracked under pressure.

Then cooled off and pulled this out of somewhere. :dopey: Kind of meh on T3 though.

I am finding what Andrew (Doodle) said earlier about having a worse T2 time but better thru T3 and at the line to be true for me. I find if I am not as aggressive thru the kink (slightly worse T2), I can get on gas quicker and get better speed up to the last set of turns. I wish I could figure out how to do both as others seem to be doing. I have seen some .3s thru T2, I have no idea how Lucas and others are at .0s and lower thru T2. I guess I will have to wait for the replays.

Yea. Goin in the green helps tremendously.. did 3 laps and one was a 489 in t1 with a .913 at t2.. just a test run though.. might try it later tonight if Lucas doesn't pull the sandbag card ;)

I've never used the green part of the track to set up for the next lap, I'm usually at 103 at the line. Just enter turn one a bit wide with a slight drift on throttle and get tight to the inside on exit to set up the next left. You can keep more speed by getting the lefts inside the rumbles without sliding wide.

Lap submitted and accepted. Improved T2 by .200 but only improved at the line by about .03. Great car/track combo!

Submitted with time posted earlier. I can equal or better my T1 and T2 times, but I can never catch my ghost thru T3. It feels like a really good one, but we will see. On to driving in the desert at Willow, maybe it will make me feel warmer, this winter has been unusually cold.
