I'm pretty sure I renamed it before I zipped it and I'm guessing that's what corrupted it. So a question for the experts, can I rename someone elses file before I move it to the ps3 without corrupting it? I'm having issues where the other persons file number matches my replay files that I already exported and it is overwriting them.

Yep, mcfizzle, it's a problem. As you found, you can't rename your own before zipping, and you can't rename others' after unzipping, so you are stuck overwriting any same-named existing replays with the new ones. Best to take note of any that you care about that will be overwritten before overwriting them, and save them off before the overwriting process.

Clear as mud?

EDIT: You might also want to edit your original post with the corrupt replay so as not to confuse humans or Fetchy.

Great Lap. Clean, specs match and time verified. All I have to say about your lap is smooth=fast.

Clean, specs match and time verified. There were four spots where it was incredibly close. Turn 1 at the corner, the chicane, and just before and after the swimming pool, but you kept it centimeters off the wall. For the chicane I thought for sure you were heading for dirty, but the "slideways" action of the car kept your tires just over the rumbles.

I'd be willing to bet you could beat that lap by almost a second now given the consistently fast pace you showed in the 3D3 race last night. In the last month or so you've definitely turned it up a notch. 👍

I thought I owed it myself to try to go flawlessly for the 3D3 compo after the cave in that happend to me at the end of the WRS combo.
