3---2'20.315---GTP_Allibubba99 - I think you've uploaded the wrong replay.
The replay you posted is 2'20.140.

OH NO! Well it appears I have either typo-ed my submission or I deleted the wrong replay. Sorry. I do not have the required replay to submit. :ill:

Sorry to hear that Al.
Especially seeing as it is basically a submission error that would have worked in your favour.

Incorrect time (2'20.140 is the submitted replay)

Good luck Wednesday 👍

Just an FYI. There are only two spots left in the 3D3 KazSpa EU race tomorrow and five for the NA time slot. We usually welcome last minute drop ins, but this week the grids may fill up so sign up early.

Congrats to all division winners and podium finishers on this insane week:cheers:

Special mention to the great fight at the top, insane time from Rutter  and Eclipse 👍

Also to Jonas and my mate Chris 👍 (that red lap... :yuck::dunce:)

But the special mention this week is to my mates on D2, uauu:dopey:, Marc, Tim, Christophe and Scott :dopey:, after the results saw that my time is not that slow, you guys that were really fast 👍 well above the handicap.
Great job and what a fight 👍
Also Lucas, you really want a place on D2 :sly:

Unlucky Joao mate - a tough week to be sure. These 3D3 guys have been getting plenty of online practice and with the 'loose' physics, running offline feels much more stable and alot faster. You should join us for the race. :)

The truth is that i never raced online and i´m really afraid to not know what to do :dunce:

No better way to learn to run online than on the track with fellow GTPers.

Definitely suggest practicing in your own lounge to get a feel for offline physics, but if nothing else, getting into some of these races and just making sure you drive within your personal limits could help you build confidence.

Come join us dude! You'll pick it up soon enough. 👍
It's really a lot of fun. :D

EDIT:
You too segovia!

Congratulations to the winners and podium finishers.

Usual Suspect, I understand your reticence, as I have never raced online myself! I'm planning to participate in one of those 3D3 events at some point, however, because the gang here looks like a very good one to help us get initiated.

Can't agree with Kevin more! 👍

I was in the same boat early last summer and was tentative about running the OMRS races or joining any online race. But with a little experience online racing goes from stressful to just amazing fun and a great way to leverage all those WRS laps you put in already. Not to mention improving your WRS performance to top it off.

The first races live races I tended to be too careful and worried more about messing up someone else's race than concentrating on my own line and performance. That's natural but after a few races are under your belt it evolves quickly to the point where you are comfortable racing at your limit near other drivers.

It's really fun and we're all across the board as far as speed and experience goes so everyone is welcome -- first timers or aliens. Bring a mic or a keyboard and ask questions if there is something you don't know (lounge settings, pit stops, fuel/tire strategy, etc).

If an "official" race is too much to start with you can always join one of our practice sessions where we typically do free run laps mixed in with mini races (10-15 mins). They're a good way to get your feet wet and get used to driving with the other guys and learn the ins and outs of the lounges, pits, etc. We have an official EU practice every Tuesday at 8:00 PM GMT and then an hour practice before each race. Also people post ad hoc practice sessions in our 3D3 thread throughout the week.

I hope you decide to give it a shot. 👍

EDIT: Treed by speedy and segovia... I guess I'm just too "wordy".

Kevin, is not a problem of confidence, is afraid of not knowing what to do, where to be, and reading all the rules on this races really intimidates.

But thanks to the all the replys, you´re 👍 and going to join you sooner than you think (but this week i have to rest, because believe it or not, i have a thumb with a callus from all the driving on WRS all this weeks, is like the price to pay to be on the gold D2 :dopey:)

These guys really do a great job of lining everything out and making it easy for everyone involved.

As Tim mentioned, maybe just join the practice sessions one time to see what it's all about. They can walk you through how to get into the Lounge, etc., if that's a concern. But it's pretty simple once you figure it all out. 👍

Joao, I've been feeling the same way. Would love to race but it does seem a little intimidating. From what I've read in the thread though, Tim, Marc, Lucas and Co. do a great job (as Kevin says) so it really looks to be the best way to wet your feet.

I'm also hampered by the 3d3 events not working for my timezone. However, Peter (Sidplayos) has suggested an 'Oceania' event so I may see if we can run online with him just to see how things go. I'm as much worried about a laggy 'net connection as anything else, so I'm interested to see how it all performs. If it all goes well, I may try and work out how to run the occasional event in the EU and/or NA lounges.

FYI... just noticed a typo in the OP:

"Time Trial in Arcade Mode"

I looked back at the last few results threads and they all say "in Arcade Mode" so it probably doesn't really matter.

Here is my replay. Such a fun and challenging week, next up the fun and challenging 3D3.

Thanks to whoever checks it.👍

Edit: Did I corrupt my replay? I renamed it after zipping and I'm thinking now I shouldn't do that.

Good clean lap. That was a close week ;)
Replay worked fine 👍
You can rename it all you want, the files were all in the right place and that's all that matters.

I could hear you were having a bit of a wrestle with the gear changes, good lap with one close call (left before final chicane)

Here's my replay, btw congrats to all podium finishers 👍

Hey! I was just checking Madbeater, ah well, checked yours while I was at it :dopey:

Nice lap mate, very identical to mine.

The lap was very clean, until the last sector, too bad you skid a little at Blanchimont, it could have been a few tenths faster.

Just be careful with the (last) chicane, you'r nearly 3 wheels off the track there, but couldn't find a frame were you were completely off. So it's green :)

Thanks for checking Joost 👍

Turned in earlier than expected but thought I was good there, couldn't find a bad frame myself either, else I wouldn't have submitted this.

Got very nervous before Blanchimont :nervous:

Thanks for checking poolhaas, and I may have hit the rev limiter a couple if times lol.
Still fairly happy with it all in all, my best finish to date
