I watched both @Doodle and @StigsTC's laps last night and was surprised at the use of 1st gear. I think Doodle used it on the 2nd-to-last corner and Stigs used it at the hairpin and final corner? Nice job Doodle leaving the Coca Cola bollard standing.

Came down to when you needed it to rotate the car having got the entry slightly wrong. If you nailed the line right you could stay in 2nd and carry speed, which Doodle did more often than I did, as is reflected on the leaderboard.
I used lower gears everywhere lol, first turn, 100R, turn 4, hairpin in S3, usually pulled 1st in second last and last turns searching for more yaw having turned in late or not got the right brake pressure to yaw and slow the car. It was rare that I made things work staying in 2nd on the ideal line.
