Very happy for the victory with so many "wolfs", but not with my final time
My problem wasn´t get below '33

My target was a 32'6 but could´t perform a good T4 with my best splits before.
When i said my T4 wasn´t good i really mean it, because my best was a 21.488 and average was on the .55x.

Congrats to all podiums. It was quite easy to calculate that Wes' exclamation "finallly!" meant a sub 1'32 lap. Well done!

It's funny. When I started my last one hour session on Monday night my best lap time was a 1'32.792 and I only had five or so laps below 1'33 in total. In the final session I probably did 10 laps that was better than my previous best and I could go below 1'33 even while driving one handed while changing brake bias at the same time. I wonder how that happens.

Thanks for posting this mate 👍 I have a replay with a 1'10.9xx at T3 yet only .042 behind my submitted laptime... if only I had hit the rare 1'10.6 split instead and finished with my best T4 it could have been a different story

I think we all lost what we were capable of overall by a good .3 of a second roughly! I was chasing a 1'31.9 as my ideal time but fully expected Wes on a 31.6 or 31.7 with those crazy fast splits... seems we all have nerves that hold us back no matter how deep into the lap we are Nice T4 split from Twisty btw 👍

Well done guys it was a fierce battle all over the tables! I used the same set up all the way, brakes 6/8 ... ABS 6 ... steering sensitivity +5

I was thinking about this though, I may have been overzealous on my position on the leaderboard... Could I get some clarity on what defines the podium?

Ex. Are the podiums set by the first set of divisions?

Don't worry about it. Only Vaxen understands it.

The podium placers are the fastest three in each division.

In the GTP WRS Comprehensive Guide thread, I "bookmarked" a couple links to posts where Vaxen or Joost explained some of the handicap stuff. Short story is that negative handicaps means you performed better than expected, vice versa for positive handicaps.

Thanks for the review segovia, I never understood the invisable wall issue. I was thinking of invisibles like the grass areas in the top gear track, you slide just so far then bang. I was just looking at the tire, not the body of the car, as a rule, I throw out close calls, and this would have been. Thanks again!

As for using my mysteron71 account I have discussed this matter with Kevin a few months back... I've had 4 fat PS3's over the last 5 years that have died with red light of death and everytime I have lost all my cars all my log in details etc... everything from all my 4 accounts on more than 1 occasion.

The mysteron71 account is the first account I created when I first got a PS3 in 2007 and by fluke I found an old early GT5 save on my wifes PS3 with a handful of decent cars, I transferred it to my new slim PS3 and started from there!
I have been using the same account since I started back on the WRS roughly 3 months ago, I now have a garage with about 40 - 50 cars and 4.5 mill in the bank, I don't want to complete the game again and only want to take part in the odd race and will buy cars for the ones I fancy or just jump in an arcade car and off I go 👍
I have no time or patience to do it all again for the umpteenth time unfortunately.

I have been racing the GT series and uploading replays on this forum since 2001 so I'm pretty sure people know who I am by now and can forgive me for not having the GTP tag in my account... but as I said earlier I have hundreds of GT5 hours on several accounts just vanish like thin air and i'm too old and grumpy to do it all and lose it all again

If I'm red flagged here then best red flag all my previous weeks also (as I ran them also using the same mysteron71 account) and I will regretfully drop out of the WRS for good, I put plenty of hours into this combo and I don't really deserve a red flagged lap due to my psn name missing 3 letters imo! as said in previous posts the GTP tag is assurance for others that you race fair and clean... I have proven myself on many occasions over 11 years methinks

I will leave it with the Admins to decide but I wont under any circumstance start another account fresh again but will fully understand if I'm required to exit the WRS due to standing my ground 👍 I hope it doesn't have to come to that

The last thing I'd want is that you leave the WRS.

There is a way to use your GTP_Tag Account name. When you're logged off from PSN, the replay file shows your ps3 user name as the driver name.

Log in to your account

Press triangle and go to information

Edit your username

As long as you're not logged in to the PSN, you can take part in Arcade Mode and Practice Mode events.

My first WRS TT, great fun but messed up my time.
I posted 1.35.540 which I read from the top of the timing screen (best lap) but my time was actually 1.35.405 which is on the replay save file name wouldnt have made any difference to my postion 👎
Oh well you live and learn.
